Could I turn anyones Lgbqt coming out story into a comic?

"Drawn OUT is a comic book anthology of nonfictional coming out stories, and we are looking for submissions. We're looking for 1-6 page stories in sequential art (comic) form, that revolve around coming out as any form of gender/sexual minority. We want to see the full spectrum, and we will be making sure as many identities are represented as possible."

Right now they are open for submissions.
Basically i want to submit a comic for this publication. However, I don't have a 'coming out' story, really. That's why I'm asking of I can illustrate the coming out experience of someone else!

I identify myself as asexual. However, I think it would be interesting illustrating a story with more obstacles crossed, if that makes sense. I mean being asexual puts me as part of the sexuality minority spectrum. However, I've never faced discrimination and hate towards this label. I just get odd looks lol.

I would not be taking credit for the story itself, because it's not my own experience. If you wish to remain anonymous in the publication I will state something like 'story is the experience of anonymous.' Something like that!

If you're an artist yourself, this is a great experience. Getting published is really fulfilling. :]
