ssb4 3ds question

I've been hearing a bunch of stories on how people have been breaking their 3ds's by playing smash bros. So, has this happened to any of you guys? I've heard it's the d-pad or something and its gotten me worried, although I don't know why anyone would go that hard while playing

If by that you mean the online mode, then no. I never really got into it, sadly.
People need to calm down with their smash/dashing inputs. You just don't treat the circle pad like you do with the Gamecube controller's analog stick. Kid Icarus and Monster Hunter both have the same caliber of strain on the pad during certain times so just play it how you would those games, softly but with a passive-aggression.
You play Kid Icarus?
If no one did, Nintendo wouldn't make GC controllers compatible with SSB.

I see how you are still butthurt at how I said Mother 3 sucked. Face the truth, it was as terrible as your addiction to Earthbound. You see, the whole Earthbound series specially M2 they all sucked terribly. by the way your Cosplays look ridiculous so I bet you also look ridiculous IRL.
People are pushing down hard on the circle pad, which caused the rubber covering to come off.

The buttons are completely fine.

No one likes purists.

Thanks, I guess it won't be an issue then though I plan on playing a lot. And mine is an xl too so it kinda matters.

It's the circle pad. Just don't go crazy when inputting smash moves and you should be fine.

A few Japanese players wrecked their joysticks. I was worried the same would happen to me, but I've been fine. Then again, I only play an hour a day.
edit: I own a 3ds xl, by the way. Dunno if it matters, but yeah.
