Why does Blazblue have such a bad rep?
Seriously, everyone says it's terrible and a lot of Guilty Gear fans always beat it to death when it was made by the same people! Is it an abomination among fighting games or something?

Blazblue apparently had limited/less amount of combos, while in GG you could do whatever you want with the combos. If you like that combo and you like this other combo you practically can mix them up (you can become creative with combo mixing) while in BB they took that off or something. Correct me if I'm wrong. I have a friend that is a Hardcore fan of GG and he told me this. O_O
Are you talking about the game or the anime? If you're talking about the anime, most anime adaptations of games don't do very well.
Where are you hearing this from?
I've never heard of anyone bashing Blazblue, it's one of the best anime-styled fighting games out there.
I only hear about how good the game is and that it has a great soundtrack.
I'm going to just blindly say 'cause its not GG.
