Mercedes or Bowmaster
Im thinking about switching from my Wind Archer to another archer class, but im stuck between the 2 classes.
Both have their pros and cons.
Bowmaster
1. Insanely high HPS
2. Very hard to fund and cap on
Mercedes
1. Agile
2. No sharp eyes
3. Short Flashjump
Both the classes are ok but im leaning towards mercedes just because of how bowmasters are so much harder to fund. Please share your opinions, i appreciate it Thanks.

Play whichever you have more fun on. They both need insane funding to shine. I play both but I prefer my Mercedes more as it needs little to none to achieve your max dps. Bowmaster needs more setup skills to reach you optimal dps.
I just switched from wind archer to bowmaster so I had this problem too, deciding which archer class to main. I've played wind archer, bowmaster, and mercedes all pretty thoroughly and I love every single one of them . I don't want to leave you an essay so I'll just quickly say my opinions:
Bowmaster
+ insane hps and dps potential
+ covering fire and hookshot are fun af and useful if used correctly
+ allowed to move while using hurricane
+ no visual effect buff (i hated the look of albatross and water shield)
+ easiest training I've ever done (if your range is high enough to 1shot with blaster)
+ easily reach 100% crit
+ not reliant on buffs for good dps (aside from sharp eyes and reckless hunt)
+ you get your own personal phoenix
+ getting huge buffs in reboot
- you'll need to rob a bank and a half to hit high consistent numbers
- lower mobility than mercedes and windarcher
- have to cast advanced quiver every 30 seconds
- relatively high delay buffs (can be eliminated with pet buffs)
- many set ups required to maximize dps
Mercedes
+ on the higher end of hps and dps potential
+ high mobility (ladder climbing is the most fun evar)
+ chaining attacks provides much different and unique gameplay for an archer
+ PRETTYYYYY <3
+ a wide array of debuffs (pdr, damage) so you don't need to cube for too much pdr
+ allowed to move while using ishtar's ring (and faster cast time than hurricane)
- you'll need to rob a bank to hit high consistent numbers
- rebuffing is awful and leaves you completely vulnerable
- slower training
- no sharp eyes archer, WAT.
...okay maybe I did write an essay, sorry.
TL;DR, get ready to sell your soul no matter which you switch to, and play whichever you like better, because both are good .
mercedes is a sick class to play. you will have more fun with it
Mercedes has sharp eyes built into it's skills. They have the same crit damage as a bowmaster. Getting DSE skews that to 90%+ max crit damage.
In my experience mercedes mobbing is kinda rough.
Funding is difficult on both classes. If you want a Bowman class, try Marksman. Not sure if they are any easier to fund but I heard they do higher damage.
You probably need more than 25k stat to be able to brush the cap as both.
(On end-game bosses that is)
I am personally a bowmaster, but to be fair, mercedes was not out yet when i made it.
It's insanely hard to cap, as you say. I am at 1.5m clean range and i am not even close. Even after the upcoming buff i won't be anywhere near capping, but i will probably be able to solo hmag/cra.
