How much have you spent on maplestory?
I myself have been playing ever since the first beta came out. I think i've already spent well over $800. How about you guys?

I have been playing since the game stopped being beta. I remember wasting $30 the first year, and pretty much that. I don't need max damage or NX to enjoy this game

I'd say just under $300 for the 6-7 years I have played off and on. I wouldn't say it was money well spent since I didn't understand what I needed to do with the nx I was buying to be successful but it wasn't a waste either, I enjoyed what I was able to buy with the nx even if it was just equips for character appeal. I probably would have spent a lot more if MTS did not get removed.
Most of the money i spent was trying to cube my equips.... and i blew most of them....
$0 but hundreds of hours.
Personally, if people exclusively want to just get rich/strong in this game, I encourage them to spend the money. Why? Because even if you don't spend any money, you will be spending countless hours trying to merch. If you spent that same amount of time in a minimum wage job, you'd do MUCH HIGHER than a regular merchant.
Merch only if you feel the genuine joy of merching or if you feel it is fun.
Just a pre-response to the conceited replies about people saying, "haha you spend money on pixels."
Pathetic enough that even with the amount I've spent I am no where near max range.
When I started playing 7 years ago on and off, probably 500 dollars. Most of that was between the first 2-3 years when I was 10-11. I didn't even know I had that much money back then..
