Frozen Orb, Morning Star etc.

Are we sure this is a glitch? Has it been said officially anywhere by nexon? I remember reading during that patch that a total of 28 classes would be revamped in small ways. Some not mention with a focus being on 14 or so at the time? Anywho, that's not even important really but the fact that for these skills (I can only speak for frozen orb) in addition to increases the attack speed, the sound was changed from a soft snowflaking to a deathly ice shreaking sound, is it also a coincidence that they enhanced the attack speed and intensified the skill's sound? It hasn't made any of these classes op, idk, again is this an official nexon statement or forum banter?
It is 100% a glitch. Even if it was added on purpose it still prevents you from attacking in the same spot after casting 1 frost orb. There are a lot of gitches though in this game.

Battlemage damage reduction character card has been glitched since like the release of character cards and hasn't given damage reduction, Explorer mage permanently lose 30% or more of their max mp when they do open job advanced, this glitch has been around a long time as well with no fix which is amazing because mage mp is basically their hp.

This glitch may or may not be fixed but you should not make a class based on the glitch. IL and Luminous are both very weak at bossing and dojo without the glitches.
(IL is weak at training too Lol...)
Any undocumented change is considered unintended(a bug) unless Nexon says otherwise.

Nexon didnt say anything about this change so its a bug.

Also yes, Nexon said that certain jobs would receive skill changes. Said skill changes were listed on the patch notes and guess what, none of those skills that now attack insanely fast are listed on said changes. The skill hit sound didnt get changed either, its just that it attacks so fast that the sound overlaps.
From what i can see from some KMS videos of their i/l, their attacks still hit at what they should be hitting at. If GMS has made it exclusive with i/l's Orb, then it is awesome cuz i/l is really out-shadowed by f/p.

My friend said that f/p can hit caps on reg. monsters with only a 400k range. and cap on bosses with around 800k only... This is a very big difference from the fact that they are suppose to be the opposite of each other. IDM f/p doing a lot more but the difference is just too much...
As a guy who has job changed from I/L > F/P > I/L, i can tell you that F/Ps are about as strong, and maybe a bit weaker than I/Ls when it comes to bossing.

Glitch or not, enjoy it while we can.

@aznsoldi3r: lol, they were not the weakest. They were always stronger than i/l but back then the reason people played i/l more than f/p was because the damage difference is very small compared to now and people prefer freezing monsters over that little damage.

back then with same funding (from my characters when pot wasn't even out yet) f/p does like 5-7k with fire arrow while i/l can only do like 4k-5k on rombots in CPQ.
Again is this coming from nexon or just select forum poster's opinons?
The reason it does that is because a lot of attacks have a limit on how many hits you can spam. since frost orb does so many hits in 5 seconds it basically pushes that limit

If you have an il mage and have used the skill, and still do not think it is a glitch, you are probably not very bright. Buffs come in patch notes just fyi...

There's no way you can even set up enough DoTs to cap on a normal monster before it dies. And for the record my f/p caps on bosses with mist explode at 1.2m range and 150% boss damage with 5 DoTs set up with mist explode. Pretty overpowered compared to all classes but mist explode is slow af.

lol its hard to hit cap on reg monsters since they have to use like 5 skills before reaching the pinnacle of their strength. You can hit cap on bosses with 500k and like 100% boss during infinity+epic adven primed.

theres been like 4 patches since it happened, i honestly think it was purposely implemented since its a pretty huge change and nothing has been done about it

oh and it makes that sound because the sounds are happening all at once basically
