Nexon got hacked?

Today, my Chinese anti-virus again found Heur, a type of Virus that allows hackers to steal information from my computer.
Be aware guys, I think this is why that many people never went on random website, yet still get hacked.
Nexon guarantees security? you are probably wrong o.o

@Wangsihan The anti-virus is most likely using its "heuristic" scanning (this is what the "heur" means in the message- look it up), and flagging the way Hackshield operates as a "possible" threat since Hackshield scans your computer for cheat tools when it runs.
This is a fairly common incident when Nexon or Hackshield updates their software and is a "FALSE POSITIVE".
McAfee had fits over it one patch and AVG has scrambled its brains over it other times.
It's good to bring it up, but without 100% confirmation or proof of an actual threat, it's just a rumor.

"due to its behavior..."
Nexon guarantees nothing imao.
I remember there was incident which people got hacked by clicking "update password every 3months" on nexon site.
Thanks to it, a few of my friends quit ms.
Also, it is more like that the evidences you provided are not convincing/solid.
But, nexon's files updates every patch. Even if there was no virus in there before, no one can guarantees that there is no virus in it now.
Nexon can guarantee it.
it's their content.
I don't even know why i'm having this conversation. You're obviously too set in your mindset to believe anything otherwise.
Good luck with the paranoia.
I highly doubt the credibility of that site. And again, my anti-virus just found it like 30mins ago, I don't think the site updated that fast o.o
From what I heard, there was a hacker( named "echo" i think?) could hack whoever he wanted to hack. This is likely the explanation, though i am not 100% sure.
It was Ecko.
And that dll has been there for longer than this patch, or any patch previous.
There are certain instances in which the dll may be malicious. This is not the case here.
Dang. Since I'm running win8, Maple doesn't work for me since this patch, but if it runs, and if this is in fact a virus, does that mean it's already had access to my info and stuff? D8

lol my anti-virus program just detected it like 25minutes ago
Nexon is not that fast to recognize it.
Explains why my nexon acc doesn't work anymore. Also explains why the Email I used for it doesn't work either.
"Trojan viruses are malicious programs that appear benign at first. Often they require users to install them in order to run a certain task, but simultaneously allow hackers remote access into a computer. Hackers usually use keyloggers and spyware to commit data theft. At this point, they are able to record passwords, bank account numbers, credit card numbers, etc. which allows them to commit identity theft. The Win32 Heur Virus is one such trojan that damages the stability of your machine."

Indeed, there is a chance that my anti-virus program is mistaken. On the other hand, there is also a chance that my anti-virus program is NOT mistaken.
Heur...?
What function does that have?
