How much money do you think is ok/reasonable2 spend on maple
How much money do you think is ok or reasonable to spend on maplestory? Since I am a casual, mostly, player I figured why bother spending money on nx...but I can't help it sometimes. So I have given myself a limit of $30 a month, more than enough for me so I don't spend too much at once. I can afford it but there are more important things after all. Medical bills, bills in general, food, etc. (i'm 23 and live on my own with fiance and fur babies).
So....How much money do you think is ok or reasonable to spend on maplestory? Just curious what others thought on this. I know it's none of business what people do with their own money but I do find it odd when people spend hundreds at once, even thousands... o.o unless their rich maybe...that's just...insane imho. o.o
Edit: Omg....I thought everyone knew what FUR, yes FUR, babies were! Everyone I have ever heard, in real life AND the internet, has called PETS FUR babies. I have 4 cats and 1 dog, yes FUR babies is CORRECT!

I never said I spend $30 a month. I take breaks for months on end, get back to maple, and end up spending $30-$60 once every 6 months or so....I don't think i'll be taking a break again (not for months on end I mean) so the $30 a month limit is so I don't spend more than that at once. I won't be spending that much every month. I get paid monthly so yea

Yes, people call pets fur babies...FUR not FOUR. PETS. I have heard everyone that I have ever known and heard of on the internet call pets FUR babies. I have medical issues where I can not have any human babies!

Thirty a month seems reasonable. That's where I draw the line too.
I know some people that spend hundreds monthly and aren't satisfied, and some that spend 30 a year and are happy the way they are.
I limit myself to about $30 a year, but that's just me. You need to find your "break-even" point.
I would say spend atleast 100 dollars on any game. Well thats what I do.
Its up to you. For some people knowing I spend $200-400/month going out for fun too much. I pay my bills and live a life I am happy with (including saving money for future plans). If you buy 1k nx a month and have a life that is not impacted by that your fine. It's when buying nx takes money away from other things that it becomes an issue; for some this could be as little as $10 a month.

As much as you wish to spend. It's your money. As long as you ain't going broke spending money on this game then it's alright.

And since no other poster will give you an answer, I will. I don't think $30 a month is bad at all if you have a job and can pay your bills, put food on the table and save for the future. If not, then you have a problem on your hands.
I'd say about $200 a year isn't bad ($16.66... a month), because I spend more than that on my Xbox and I play maple more. It kinda depends on whether you have a job or not. I personally have only spent around $350 over 4 years.
I've spent nothing and reached 30b by merching.
However much you want to spend, and can afford to spend, while budgeting your money correctly for other expenses.
It's very nice that you limit the amount of money you spent on NX, considering you have a family running :]
Keep doing what your doing, if you want to somewhat increase or drop the amount of NX you spend each month, go for it, its your choice
