When you roll the dice and you're given a quest to find monsters of some kind, do you have to find these monsters in a map near your level? Or can it just be a regular map?

Any clues on the potted plant quest? Those aren't dropping from monsters, and haven't seen any just lying around.
@deadangel13: is it cat hunting season already?
They say it has to be mobs around your lvl, so I'm gonna assume the standard 40 lvls above or 20 below.
@witty I think I had the same quest
I killed some monsters around my level and they dropped those balls of strings, and when I clicked them they summoned little cats
those were the cats I needed to hunt down
I did a quest where I had to find airplane tickets from monsters within my level range. The character that I was on is 141 so I killed Dark Cornians in Leafre (lvl 142) and they dropped the tickets I needed.
Not sure if this answers your question at all but it's an example if it helps.
