Firepoisonarchmage

In need of some help from fellow FPs

So im making a new F/P mage since an F/P was my first character I ever got to a pretty high level -Pre-BB and it would be nice if I can get some advice/tip/help/information/whatever else that comes to mind lol from any fellow F/P's.

Back then I would use Poison Brace til 70 then go with a Mist build and off to Skeles then spam Meteor for the rest of my life. Simple. I got on my 13x F/P recently and my skills were messed up, played it a little, kind've weird, didn't get the feel of it.

Made a new one, got to level 8x pretty fast & found it as fun as it was back then. So im probably going to play an F/P Mage again & this is where I need some information since im not up-to-date.

- DoT skills are: Brace, Mist, Comp, FD, Para, and Meteor? Am I missing some?
Is there a certain cycle for maximum DPM?
[LHC] On 1 mob, im guessing I would use all of them, but on 2+ mobs, is there some skills that isn't worth casting?

- Does anyone know what it takes to hit 100k+ with maxed Paralyze?

- Earring-wise, is it better to get a higher % Int or ones with good Magic Attack, even though the Int % kind of suffers?

- Does the speed of the weapon matter? And I think Poison Elemental wand/staffs are switched around ,so an Elemental Wand 6 would be better than 5?

- F/P still pot burners?

Probably got more questions and stuff, but this is all I can think of for now, thanks in advance!

Is there a certain cycle for maximum DPM? Can't say for most FP AMs but my normal cycle is just mist+paralyze when I'm bossing. When I train at LHC and/or bossing, sometimes I do comp+FD+mist and follow with paralyze spamming. But it really depends how funded a player is. If you're low-funded I think it is just better to spam paralyze by itself because DoT will stink if your range is low.
[LHC] On 1 mob, im guessing I would use all of them, but on 2+ mobs, is there some skills that isn't worth casting?
If you're low-funded or your range is low, I think just spamming your main skill (explosion at 3rd job, paralyze at 4th job) would probably be the best method of training. If you're very highly funded, go with mist clouds in various spots (that the monsters tend to occupy in) and follow with paralyze to combine DoT.
- Does anyone know what it takes to hit 100k+ with maxed Paralyze?
I'm taking an educated guess here but I think around 12k-15k maxed range to hit 100k non-crit
- Earring-wise, is it better to get a higher % Int or ones with good Magic Attack, even though the Int % kind of suffers?
Get both xD. I currently have 15/25 15% int earrings. They increase my range massively.
- Does the speed of the weapon matter? And I think Poison Elemental wand/staffs are switched around ,so an Elemental Wand 6 would be better than 5?
Far as I can tell, it weapon speed does not matter anymore (it only used to matter for one skill -explosion). Ele wand 5 and ele wand 6 both currently have a bonus of 10% fire and 5% poison. I know it's wrong, yeah Nexon programmers are idiots.
- F/P still pot burners?
with MP eater being nerfed, maybe, but it depends on where you train.

no problem
