Any E.baadfy sellidsng tips?

The title was supposed to be "Any Ebay selling tips?"

Im trying to sell a pair of shoes on Ebay to make up for a different pair of shoes I bought. I put my listing up yesterday and only have 89 views. What are the chances I will selI these shoes? I have 0 feedback by the way. Can I have some advice from some experienced Ebay sellers here on basil?

@xdeltanator The zero feedback rating will definitely hurt you. People are very reluctant to trust anyone selling anything without a proven track record of reliability already. The best thing to do is to buy stuff (doesn't have to be expensive as long as you get positive feedback from the sellers) to raise your feedback rating before trying to sell anything. While people can still check deeper and see your buying versus selling feedback a good rating will still help.

Also, as a brand new seller the price of the thing(s) you're selling can affect whether anyone gives you a chance. Buyers will be reluctant to risk very much on a new seller and will probably just go for the sellers with higher feedback for higher priced items.

Make sure you provide plenty of photographs of the item(s) and point out any flaws so buyers will get the impression you're not trying to hide anything and be sure to give a good complete description of the item(s) so it makes you look like a trustworthy seller. You're competing with a lot of sellers that have been doing this for a long time and who have very high feedback so anything you can do to boost your image will help.

Be sure to search for similar items and check out how much they're priced at so you're not pricing yourself out of the market.
Then search for the same item again, only use the "Completed listings" option on the Search page to check for completed auctions for the same items in the past 2 weeks.
That will show you both IF any of those items have actually sold, and now much they actually sold for.
All of that can help you decide if your price is a factor in whether or not you can expect your item(s) to sell.

Most of all, remember there's a LOT of competition on eBay now and unless you're selling a VERY unique item you may end up having to re-list the item several times before it sells, and/or lower the price to attract more attention.

I don't understand this thread. It's like me making a thread that says "I PUT A YUGIOH CARD UP ON EBAY. WHAT ARE THE CHANCES OF ME SELLING IT?" What card is it? Is it up for a fair price?
