New Beginner Equips
So I recently made a new beginner and it's level 150, so I am trying to figure out what equips I should be using, should I use commerci or sweet water. And are either of the sets particularly expensive? Would I be better off trying to get them myself (if so how would I get them). Or is it better to have a top and bottom over commerci/sweet water?

Aside from the SW set, I'd say this is the best end-game set beginners can get.
Alternatives would be Legend Maple or Grand Maple Amethisian sets, both of which can be obtained from Krexel.
EDIT: forgot about the commerci set (not the SW one, the one you get from the quests). It doesn't have a set effect, but the stats aren't bad and you can give them to your beginner from another character, unlike blackgate (which is mostly a clone of the VL set).

@xerun45: 120k range is good enough to defeat the octopus on the first/2nd voyages he comes out on. Me vip dagger is fully scrolled w/ prime scrolls.
I prefer STR over HP, I believe it's possible to have 25k+ without adding points into HP with a ton of +hp/%hp. However, I have 950ish AP invested into HP, which is a mistake, and I have 49k with decent HP active, most +hp/%hp is from starforce/set equips. Once the game gets up I can check how much HP I have without any gear. 18kHP without any gear on~

Would about 120k range be good enough to take out the bosses? And the prequests to get to Commerci are the Tynerum ones? And the only thing I have is the VIP dagger and how do you have yours scrolled, did you use 70%? As well as do you prefer HP or STR? And if you prefer STR over HP, is it possible to have 25-30k hp purely through %HP and per level hp?
