Bowmaster Skill Allocations

So I have a level 164 BM atm and I've read a couple of threads about SP.
Most people say Broiler shot is a bad skill, but it basically boosts your Inferno damage by more than 20% (taking into account of the actual % bonus and the DoT boost). I was wondering if it would he alright to max everything except elite puppet since it's just extra hp and a little more damage.
I know that I can do whatever I want since it's my character, but I want the General Opinion from Basil.

You might want to max it really late instead. There's a ton of other skills that should be maxed first before you should start working on inferno. Most people wont max inferno, puppet, or hero's will until the very end because there are other skills we have that should be maxed first if you want to raise your range. Maxing inferno right now won't help you much in the long run.

Cool thanks! I'm probably not going to boss until around 18x( other than Zak, Scarga, Pianus, and pap, maybe the occasional Czak). I'll max it for now and wait for a Hot Time.
Thanks man!

It depends what type of bm you are. If you plan on bossing a lot, maxing puppet would best because of the 20% damage reduction. Bosses that do 1/1 and seduce is where this skill really shines. Although it might not be enough to save you every time, that extra 20% hp left over during a 1/1 while seduced could allow you to take another 2 hits or so and hopefully seduce will wear out by that time. It's also helpful at bosses that do a ton of damage like arkarium or empress. Most bms will probably die with 1 hit unless they have their puppet out. If you plan on only training, I guess you could go with max inferno (I refuse to call it Broiler shot because of how insanely stupid that sounds). I actually left most of my skills at level 29 or so and let my leafre codex set fill in the missing SPs. That way everything is maxed after the bonuses are applied. You could also get the skill point bonuses from having 5 out of 6 empress equips, decent combat orders, or a hat that has +1 or +2 all skills.
