Sweet water vs Fafnir Katana
I've been wondering whether or not I should switch to a fafnir Katana.
This is my current Katana:

All of my armor is CRA so if I switch to a fafnir weapon, I would get the full set bonus. At the same time, I don't think I'd be able to get the stats as high as I currently have them without some pretty lucky and expensive scrolling. Would a fafnir katana with lower stats be better than my current katana if the set bonus is added in? Also, how much would I be able to sell this for if I do decide to switch it up? (I know Katana's aren't worth much lol)

one flaw in that logic though, the base stats on the SW doesn't matter, only the base stats on the item you are transposing matter.
If it does go boom from star enhancement, if you have another SW katana, you can essentially "transpose" the old stats onto the new one.
Is there any way to protect your weapon from the destruction after 12 enhancements? I know its only like 1 and a half percent but I don't have the cojones to risk it, knowing my luck...
@Singaporean: Well based on Average weapons. lol It's not always lucky to get one with +4w.att above average

Well... SW katanas can come above avg. I have a 184 base one and IF I wanted to perfect, primes would make it 274 after scrolling while faf will be 264 after scrolling. 364 at 15 star for faf and... 377 for sw without the slot. With the slot (transposed), you're looking at 391 att which is just NUTS.
Meeh, Fafnir's Base att is 164 while SW is 180 with 1 Slot less. Assuming that if your scrolling, it'll be with either 15% Spell traces or 10att Primes. Regardless you're missing 9-10att from that 1 slot. Which also means when enhnacing, you are about 9-10 att short from reaching 300att so you get 7w.att+ per star after too. i would stick with the SW. personally i still use terminus b/c i have it already and the 30% boss isn't worth the cost of perfecting a fafnir

I'd say keep your SW one, not worth the trouble. If you really wanted, just switch your PDR neb with a 25% boss neb.
