Wild Hunter Ascension

With the resistance Ascension confirmed in KMS, resistance classes will be receiving rebuffs as well as possibly new skills. I was just wondering
what you guys think would be some good add-ons and buffs for the Wild Hunter Class. For me personally, I think they should lower the cool-down on Feline Berserk to about two minutes at the maximum level and Increase the base of Sonic Roar to 900-940%.

What are your ideas guys?

@Killdragn: My apologies, I meant swipe. Also, swipe does hit up to 940% (190% per strike+40% (from Jaguar boost)*4=920%)

To all the people saying Sonic roar is useless, it is not inferior compared to swipe or DnS, it just depends on the situation. Stronghold ( Don't know whether it's been nerfed or not) training requires sonic roar as it hits around you and not in front compared to swipe. It's pretty much the perfect move to use in stronghold despite it's slow attack speed. Of course though, swipe is alot more useful in other situations which is why it's considered our main mob move.

Also, in all reality, Sonic Roar is inferior to Dash n' Slash which is something Nexon did not notice when they increased Dash N' Slash's base attack many moons ago. Dash and Slash deals 920% base damage (total after calculations) vs Sonic Roar's 740%. While DaS does not hit as many enemies as Sonic Roar, it is maxed out much earlier at 3rd job and does not require a skill book. It also has the benefit of healing, which is extremely useful in glitched LHC maps and when fighting Van Leon's mobs.

@Takeback3r: I will state this again: Not all wild hunters have the funding to hit the maximum amount of damage possible; the damage cap is only an issue to a select number of dedicated, well funded people. Theoretically speaking, if we were to bump all wild hunters to level 200; put all skill points into dex; and max out every skill while leaving their equipments untouched, we would see that still, only a small fraction would hit cap damage with their strongest single striking attacks: Sonic Roar and Dash n' Slash. Increasing the attack power and other factors including range and the speed of animation would increase the overall balance of the class. Those who exceed cap damage would not be factored in because initially, they are close to cap damage or are at cap damage.

Changing the damage/hit count would be one factor affecting balance, but it is not of course the only factor.
Thing is, not most Wild Hunters are funded and only a very small percentage of those who are can hit max (as in they have super super funding).
So what? Not many demon slayers/mercedes are that funded but it's those who are that have driven the "OP" outcry here overseas. It isn't about how many people such a change would affect, it's how easy it is for the damage cap to become an issue given the excessive power creep the koreans have instilled in this game. Changing the damage/hit count won't affect balance.

I would like to see better mob skills, a Frostprey/Phoenix type skill, and maybe Concentrate.

Choose the monster you want to summon.

I don't think it's called Ascension. It's just called Revamps so far (they'll probably give it an official name later).

Why do people use the word "Jump" or "Ascension" as a substitute for "revamp"?

We already have a drain like skill called Swipe, which is our best mob skill that is not named Exploding Arrows XD Although Sonic Roar hits two more enemies than Swipe, Swipe has the advantage in my opinion due to its higher attack power (920% vs 740%) and because of its healing ability.

Blind is quite useful in PVP, but hardly anyone PVPs. I can see your point there.
1. Give what other archers got (Training, birds in 2nd/3rd job)
2. Make Jaguar skills A LOT more useful (increase damage, speed, range, etc.)
3. Make Stink Bomb Shot A LOT more useful (work on bosses, faster animation, etc.)
3. Add a new ability that can cause arrows to "splinter" and cause DoT due to their lack of supplies and such.
I totally agree with your points. Stink Bomb Shot and Sonic Roar are totally useless in my opinion that I have decided to max out exploding arrows before Maple warrior (after maxing out all the essentials: Wild arrow blast, Sharp Eyes, Wild Instinct, Crossbow Expert, Berserk) It should be noted that although Maple Warrior is the superior option over Exploding arrows, the reason why Exploding arrows is being maxed out is because of my training preferences and cost reasons.I train in PQs and party exp areas, so I receive Maple Warrior freely and I do not see the point of wasting mesos on Maple Warrior Skillbooks...

Also, I do not understand what do you mean on your fourth point. Can you restate it please? ^^

If you're going to change sonic boom, increase the hit count if you're going to increase it's damage.
Better thing is, no cool down. but that's probably not possible so I agree with you.
It needs the cooldown to not destroy bowmasters. The HP boost needs to be passive to not suck in comparison.

I'd personally like to see a better mob move. Swipe and SRoar just can't compare with other mob skills :c
As for the rest, I'll leave that to Nexon.
