Estimated Range for Wild Hunters?
Hi Basilers, I am planning to make a Wild Hunter to see how fun it would be. In my opinion Wild Hunters have good damage and mobbing and its a decent but underrated class that people choose not to play. I was wondering if I got a 4 piece fanfir set with a 250+ attack crossbow, with maybe around 100-150%dex, with all level 2 link skills,how much would my range be and how much would i hit using sonic roar, swipe, all the other skills. At level 164, 160 - 180k
^Just a warning from the author of that thread/calculator: The estimate it provides is quite conservative since most people are equipped with other gear not included in the calculation. (Wild Hunters are a bit weird.. with their ATT%.. I'll fix this to make sure the below method will work)
Grab your "true range" from the [b]Comparison[/b] sheet and multiply this by 1.2 ish to give you a more realistic value.
Now all you have to do is multiply the damage% of your skill to the range.
[i]Example:[/i] You work out true range to be 200k. Your damage% on the skill is 200%.
Result: 200k*2=400,000 Non-crits and for bowmans your typical crit multiplier is 1.5 ish= 600k crits.

Don't know how new you are to the community but the longer you hang around it, the more you will see that it has a nice amount of detailed, math crunching, and analytically types of ppl. Thus, there is always some tool/someone that can help you find the answer, you just have to do some work to find the answer or that person.
