@DrC0ke: beating the head counts as a "kill" and it won't let you enter again until the count resets for the day(midnight PST). So as you noticed, full easy mode nets you 4 coins. The harder the mode, the more coins you will get from the head/heart kill. So, for example, whenever I do hard mode gollux, if I loot, I get anywhere from 11-20 coins, and then the 1 coin from shoulder. So if I were to stop after the first kill, I would would miss out on another 6 coins a day, assuming I skipped the farming. So it would take me just that much longer to collect the coins for the gear and scrolls haha. And absolutely! Happy to help

@whiteforce18: Haha thanks man ^.^ Last 2 questions if i may. If leaving head unkilled still consumes a key, then why is it called "farming coins". Or am I getting the idea of "farming" entirely wrong? haha. Anyways second question. Lets say, you kill all 3 parts and easy head drops 1 coin. Thats 4 coins. But if you kill 2 body parts and kill normal head, doesnt head give you 2 coins but the amount of coins you receive in total still the same compared to easy mode since you only get 1 coin from body parts anyway? @DrC0ke: firstly, I am not 100% sure about why you cannot enter. It might just be a quest on the side of your screen you have to accept? And if that's not it, try talking to the statue again. And no, the pq is not part of the required quests haha

second, if you don't have a shield on yet, get it asap! It will max out your defense, and it will also boost your range a bit, as well as help you tank more damage with meso guard and shield mastery. I think that should be enough, but you should do two things: look around basil a little more in the shad section, and also try it out! No worries if you can't beat it yet, just upgrade a bit, and try again!

thirdly, the way you farm is you collect your 3 daily keys a day, and upon entering, you go ahead and kill the shoulder, abs, and other shoulder, collect the 3 free coins, and then leave without killing the head. (there is a leave button on the mini map) you repeat that again, and then the third key, you kill however many parts you want to, and then go into the head and kill. Note: all dead is easy mode, 2 killed and head is normal, 1 killed and dead is hard, and only head is hell. The harder the mode, the more coins you will receive upon clicking the heart when you kill the head! And make sure when you click on the heart you have a drop familiar/buff/gear on!

@whiteforce18: OMG haha you helped me out heaps Well just ganna ask few questions if you dont mind Well today i was trying out the gollux prequest and using a youtube video as a guide for it. I saw this guy walk into a portal from the Crimsoonwood PQ place. He did explain to me that i have to do the quests prior to that until all the people in the lobby thing disappear. I did that, but then when i get the the middle portal, theres like a barrier that blocks me from it. The only quest that i havent done is one that requires me to do the actual PQ. Is this actually part of the prequest? And i've seen a video explaining that ranged people wont get hit by gollux breath when they are killing the head but melee people will have problems. And i was wondering, what is the best option for a shadower with 6000 defense, 10k hp, and 140k buffed range? Will i be able to solo normal mode? And lastly, i heard this guy explaining that you can farm coins by entering body parts, kill em, and re-enter. Does that deduct your limited runs per day? Thanx

@DrC0ke: yeah, but the easier the mode, the lesser the drops. Nothing besides head killed is hell mode, and is the best reward possible, but as the name implies, is REALLY hard/ almost impossible haha. 1 body part dead is hard mode, is the next best thing. The 140 equips can get dropped from this mode as well, and can be sold for at least 200m a piece, 2 dead before head is normal, and then all other parts and head is easy mode. You can also collect coins from the body parts and the overall kill, with the higher/harder versions giving more coins allowing you to purchase some of the gear. The rings and earrings sell for a LOT, so buy them with coins and sell them!

he has 3 main body parts 2 shoulders and abdomen. killing all 3 makes it normal mode, killing 2 makes it normal, killing 1 makes it hard, and killing none makes it hell mode. reinforced belts and pendents is what he drops but to get reinforced it needs to be either hard or hell mode idr. you can also get reinforced ring and earrings from the shop using gollux coins

@whiteforce18: Ahh cool. Just wondering, is there hard/easy modes to gollux? and what are the things he drops that are actually worth money?

@DrC0ke: gollux can potentially bring you an income, simply because of the drops. On average, each time I gollux, I get at least 40m profits, and more, if I get better drops, so its a nice way to get some mesos! Not sure about Krexel, but last I checked it was nerfed and not worth doing. If anything, I think Krexel is only worth doing for the pot drops to npc, but I will confirm later

Does Gollux and Krexel give much money? I kinda wanna go back into soloing bosses for an income.

what range is needed to kill red grosso polopo?

I think you can kill HT and Vl (not 100% sure about VL) with that range.

Also add in RA, and Krexel. If you're willing to do the respective quest lines, you can also do Gollux and Commerci trades.
