So I bought some tylenol extra strength for my fever it tells me to take 2 pills every 6 hours. Do I take 2 pills than wait 6 hours or do I take a pill wait 3 hours than take another ?

As an intern pharmacist, you take 2 pills, up to 4 times a day (not exceeding 4 grams of Acetaminophen). You don't have to wait the exact 6 hours, every 4-6 hours should be fine.
@Dauntaro acetaminophen does give ulcers, i think you're talking about ibuprofen
Just take one in a day it's not that bad and tylenol can give you ulcers.
Take two pills, wait 6 hours, take another 2 pills. Don't take two every time 6 hours goes by unless you absolutely need it. Your body will become immune over time and it won't be as effective the next time.
