Samsung phones
Can anybody who knows about smartphones, particularly Samsung, recommend a phone to purchase. It's going to be a gift for someone who doesn't play games on device, just for uses like calling, messaging, video chat, wifi, etc. Price range is 100+ no more than $150.
Please include the specific name, and the pros and cons. Thanks
edit: you can recommend other brands if the price is better or the features, overall function/durability/features of the phone.

That's probably with a contract.
I just sold my used Samsung S3 16GB on Kijiji for $170 a few months ago.
It had minor scratches and dents too, and was used for more than 2 years.

well its not for someone who is into latest phones/gadet stuff, just normal use of vid calling, messsaging etc.
So far I think iphone 4 unlocked would be fine, it's not the latest but its not as old as the iphone 3... What's better than iphone 4, Motorola or Samsung S 3 mini?
Smartphones without a contract will be rather expensive. If it is just going to be used on wifi, I would suggest a smaller tablet if you're looking for something phone-sized.
