Laptop Processor question?

Hi, so I have questions about laptop processors because I'm not a computer tech so I don't know that much about this stuff.

-What is a Processor?
-What types of processors are there?
-What is the list from worst to best.(Intel Pentium, Celeron, i3 etc)
-(relates to question 1) Which processor would be required for gaming, and if you attempt to game on a weaker processor what will happen?
-Does a better processor mean faster, smoother performance in wifi, clicking folders, etc.

Bonus question, rate this laptop:

Pro's and cons, thanks.

@YouAzle: i have an asus now, and it's quiet and cool. and, for just browsing and music/videos a i5 with 1.8 might not be that bad
@YouAzle : The laptop you chose that was from BestBuy is actually looking better than most of the others that I'm looking at.
It was bad if you were gaming but since you told me you weren't going to, it's pretty decent.
haha kinda glad and was hoping you'd say that, but could you recommend one just to compare?
when looking at laptops look for a few things:
1) the processor- if the speed is below 2ghz, it probably sucks and you shouldn't buy it. 2-3 is decent, 3-4 is good, 4+ is godly (i was unlucky enough to get scammed by hhgreg, the website said 2.7 but it came with a 1.8 intel i5 quadcore although windows says it goes into the 2.6 range sometimes)
2) the amount/type of ram- aim for 4+gb of ram, lower than 4 would be slow also if it's lower than ddr3 its outdated ram so don't buy it
3) if u plan on gaming look at the type of graphics, integrated graphics are usually not as good as graphic cards
4) hard drive size/speed isn't super important
Oh thanks, I dont plan on gaming on the laptop. Just usual browse, DL music, etc. Ugh thats weird, I thought i5 laptop with 1.8 ghz wouldn't be that bad, but it'll slow the browsing speed?
Asus is th brand I trust, bought a rrefurbished HP off ebay and it was heavy and overheats + its loud.. Asus I read reviews that it's light and quiet. My old laptop that I gave away was an ACER, and it was a fine laptop. Forgot the details, but I think Asus is a better version of Acer.
@ilikefoodand: most would be 400, but in between 250-400 would be good. Uhm also, I don't plan on downloading games on it. Just social media, mail, browse, download music, stream sports etc

this one, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834231571&cm_re=Laptop-_-34-231-571-_-Product is a good price, refurbished but from a trusted site it should be good as new. The processor isn't Celeron but Pentium so that's better than the bestbuys one ?
Things to consider when buying a laptop:

1. Brand name (Pick a brand you trust)
2. Proccessor Brand and Series (Intel, generally)
3. Processor Speed. (Something high. 2.50-ish)
4. Hard Drive size and/or SSD (500GB+)
5. RAM (4GB or higher)
6. Graphics card. (You don't really have to worry about this if you aren't gaming.)

@YouAzle if you want a gaming laptop for things like crysis you need more than 400
Thanks for info, could you recommend a laptop for me on newegg or Amazon.. I was thinking of just going to Bestbuys because don't like waiting for packages. That Asus laptop is an affordable price, but the intel Celeron sucks but how? What's the reason you say this laptop is not good though.
Do you want a $250 budget or can I go higher?

Processors are depended on the GHz number (GigaHertz)
Your Celeron ranks 2.16GHz.
The cheapest of the Intel Core series is i3.
More GHz means more speed. It's how many cycles your computer can do per second.
2.16GHz=2,160,000,000 cycles per second.
2.60GHz=2,600,000,000 cycles per second.
That is a 440,000,000 difference.
A processor is your computer's brain.
"The processor tells your computer what to do and when to do it, it decides which tasks are more important and prioritizes them to your computers needs."
Gaming computers use Intel Core i# series.
i3, i5, i7, i9 are available. (i9 is an upgraded i7)
Larger number typically means better. (And expensive)
A weak processor generally means slower FPS.
Performance in wi-fi is determined by your wireless network card.
Clicking folders that are generally larger in size will usually take a longer time to load. Processors do assist this.

I would generally avoid anything other than the Intel Core series with processors.
They typically work the best and are most common so you can troubleshoot any issues.

According to this website, Intel Pentium is the best.
Your Celeron processor you provided in your laptop is a cheaper version of Pentium.
(Means it's not that good.)

And also, to link something, URL goes after the = sign. The space between the two brackets is to type words in to substitute.
Rating on your chosen laptop: 1 being worst, 10 being awesome
2. (This is based on a gaming point of view)
If you just want something to hold around and type documents/watch videos, it's fine.
If you're planning to play games like MapleStory or something, increase your budget.
