@4kush20 His equips may just have more STR to add on to his base for the %.

@TehResisting: I have lv 2 kanna and cannon link skills, using every link skill possible except merc and i have 2 full character card sets with my kaisers in the deck so that's +40 more str

@4kush20 Link skills sometimes help (Mostly Kanna). (Hayato and Cannoneer can make a slight difference sometimes). Also Character Cards (edited, forgot about them)

The hell is that range while transformed too? i have a 160atk sword and 58% STR and my range is only 64K fully buff without transform or majesty.
I know i have 25% less STR but does that really make a 33k difference.. lv 181

You do understand that you don't HAVE to trade the weapon to another character to perfect, yes? You could simply buy shield scrolls in conjunction with 50% 2H weapoon or 20% 2H weapon for attack scrolls (well, the +5 no-boom ones) to perfect the weapon, right? But, this is highly costly (at least this doesn't require PSoks) and it is more advisible to buy a pre-perfected sword for 4-5b (around 180attack with 30% boss).
That and around 100%str and provided you have more attack coming from other equips (such as empress, rings, link skills etc) would easily net a 100k range. In terms of mesos, it'd cost 10-15b in total. In cubes/nx, however, the price is completely unpredictable since it's based off of a game of chance. If you set withcubing, I suggest Epic ptting whatever you have first, then cubing to save the trouble of getting to epic. Otherwise, good luck. Just know, not all of your equips have to have perfect stats on them. I'd prefer 3% less stats and 1b more to spend something else than a perfect equip (9% on everything would be ideal in your case)

My range, selfbuffed without the hyper and kaiser mode, is 53944, and I've got a clean 158 attack sword, 37% strength which, if I'm lucky, will increase with cubes, and I've got various attack equips which I need to Chaos. Any suggestions?

You might have more attack from outside sources and the other person might not. I'm going to assume that's the case.

Also, how do I go about perfecting my sword? And how much %str on each equip would I need to hit that range?

Iunno man I got a 100k clean range, and I have a 202 atk sword (not EEd) and possibly 170% str
