Using steal on bosses

Too lazy to try it myself, any good result?

@Fyrus: You don't need to continue arguing your point. We both see what he was trying to say, yet you keep bringing it back. Just stop. The TS made his point clear, and everyone is now clear about how the item drop chance does NOT work on bosses.

@Above: What I might do in a little bit is go and test it out with my old shadower, and then post my results here. I will intentionally not move Amy gear over to help the range out, so it will take as long as possible (meaning more chances to get a drop from steal, although there is the possibility that steal might only be applicable on the last body of zakum.. We will find out soon hehe)

Old posts about the steal skill states that it works on zakum. Its worth a shot to spam a boss though.
I tried using Steal on Krexel and Normal Zakum for 5 minutes, but they only dropped a Mystic Stolen Boss Potion.
But what the skill description says is unclear, it never mentioned that Steal doesn't work on bosses for the items part, so we assume it would work on anything. It works fine on regular mobs, using Steal until you successful get both an item that normally drops along with a potion. I've had either a Dark Token, bronze meso coin, stack of meso cash or an etc item drop along with a potion before the mob died. But if you do manage to Steal an item, the mob won't drop said item again when it dies. This whole thing doesn't seem to work for bosses. I guess it's fair since the potion from bosses gives extra attack, kind of like a good trade-off.
Stolen items can range from the equips, use, etc category, quest items, event items that are used to accumulate points(see "The Masked Gentleman's Candy Event" or "Ancient Artifact Hunt" event for example), sometimes even Crusader Codex cards, even though it's already recorded in the book, anything that a mob would normally drop. I'm not so sure about familiar cards though... Maybe because kMS doesn't have familiars.
Thanks so much for testing this out! This makes it abundantly clear as to why people don't do what I mentioned earlier in my previous post (unlimited CRA tops lol)

@Fyrus: He specifically said in the section that you had quoted that he KNOWS about the potion, and was asking about a drop from the boss itself.

@whiteforce18:

He isn't specific about the item, either it's the buff potion or an acutally equip/etc item, so yes I know how to read.
you use the steal skill on a boss and it drops...

"The potion can only be stolen from an enemy once, but it can be repeated until it is successful. When used against regular monsters, the potion heals random HP and MP. When used against bosses, the potion heals all your HP and MP and gives you 30 attack for 3 minutes."

learn to freaking read
......"learn to freaking read". PLEASE take your own advice here. The TS is NOT asking about the potion, but is asking about DROPS. For example, let us assume he is asking to see if he could use it to potentially get 6 CRA tops from CVB including the kill, which if that were in fact the case, then shadowers could just go in potentially unlimited times for CVB until they got a drop and then left, just to return minutes later to get one more top.

@TS, I am not quite sure to be completely honest, since it has been a while since I have been a shadower.... Hopefully someone can check!

I meant, did anyone manage to get a boss drop ?
(I have already read the description, which clearly state it is possible to get a potion AND a drop form the same monster)
