Is this plagiarism?

So im writing an essay for Health class talking about obesity in America and exercise etc. and im using a lot of info i got online, such as increasing obesity rates and what not and although i cite the source (i.e According to the New York Times a survey taken ....) most of what ive written is Facts and very little of MY own opinion, would that be considered plagiarism if i dont really provide large amounts of my experiences or opinions? The essay has to be 1 1/2 pages to 3 pages double spaced and the facts that im writing take up alot of space

Do you even know what an ego is?
Perhaps I included the ellipsis with humorous intent to describe my hesitation when realizing the irony of someone asking how to include other people's research in a thread where the original poster and the first posts describe how to avoid plagiarism. If you still think it is "the only conclusion" then I refer you to my first reply to you.

There was no point to include "..." so the only conclusion is that it was used to be condescending, or to say "This is such an obvious answer"

Why do people feel the need to put condescending/passive-aggressive ellipsis at the end of their reply to someone?

It's so rude.
Why do people feel the need to boldly interpret the meaning behind a grammatical structure in which it is impossible to determine the tone conveyed by writing alone and then propose their interpretation as a loaded rhetorical question in an attempt to bring others down?

i didn't call you out for rule breaking; i don't even know why you would mention that. i called you out for being unreasonable.
you literally called someone out for using an ellipsis at the end of their post...
how is that reasonable at all?

Well generally universities will kick you of your program if you get caught plagiarizing more than once or twice so its kind of a big deal to learn not to do it. As for the universities with many thousands of students, its not really big deal if someone gets kicked out.
As long as you cite properly you should be fine, but copying and pasting isn't how you write a good paper.
Technically, its not plagerism. But it does show poor writing skill if you can't intertwine your cited information with the purpose of why you're writing the essay (your own opinion, position, point). Your cited information/research should be used to supplement and support your thesis/opinion. But seeing how this is a relatively short assignment and its for a health class, not an English class, I'm assuming you'd be graded based on your research on the topic rather than a well developed essay. So just cite away! And when in doubt of whether you should be citing something or not, cite it just in case.
Okay thanks, this helps a lot, i'll try to fit in more of my stuff just so they wont grade me on my copy paste only essay
