Also, don't be afraid to use prototype mode in fourth job. If you're in an area of normal monsters or large maps (ToT, Leafre, etc) it's actually better to stay in prototype mode because of the mobility and rushing skill. But yeah, like everyone else said you should always use your summons

Use your summons. But if you want to be very effective, you gotta be smart and clever with the summons too.

Set up portals to help u resummon bots n tots/rock n shock faster without having to change from tank to prototype mode.
