I got drunk, met a tipsy freshman girl, and fooled around with her for a bit. what do you guys think about prayer? i personally believe that any type of prayer has no value. if a divine, omniscient, and omnipotent being knew everything, he/she would know exactly what the future holds or else, this divine being would not be all-seeing. therefore human beings would not be able to alter the future, since the future is already set in stone. thus, the act of prayer would not have any impact on the divine being's ultimate intentions. in addition, if the act of prayer somehow achieved something, it would grant us human beings the power to change future outcomes. thus, this would take away the all-powerful attribute of said divine being, since all the organisms that can pray have some sort of power. this causes a paradox in
I just joined a gay fraternity. I had no idea at all. The bros seemed 100% straight during rush parties messing around with the female guests and such. The pledge process didn't even require me and my pledgebros to do anything gay with each other. Starting an Asian fraternity My university already has a few "Asian-interest" fraternities, but they seem more on the multi-cultural side. So six of my fellow Asian bros and I are about to start an Asian fraternity called 'epsilon Alpha Zeta Nu' at my university during spring quarter. For those of you who aren't familiar with the Greek alphabet, it will stand for eAZN aka 'Elite Azn.' Since a majority of Basil is aware of the Asian culture, I was hoping to get suggestions on what our motto, symbol, animal, and colors should be. Condom discussion (clean) I am in need of some condom recommendations. What is your favorite condom to use? Also, what is your source for condoms? For now, I roll with the Durex Ultra Sensitives. They're only around $6 per dozen at Target which is a pretty decent deal compared to the other retail stores in my area. Feel free to post your preferred condom from any company, but I tend to be a little biased towards Durex and Lifestyles. By the way, I'm not trying to imply that I be getting some.
