I/l Mastery Books
I recently hit 4th job, and last night I realized I have yet to give any thought to mastery books.
Can some one give me an estimate of how much they all cost individually in Windia?
Also, is there an efficient way of obtaining them other than buying them? I have some characters who can afford I/L books with their renegades coins- good idea or no?
Possibly related: I have a Frozen Book of Ice. Are those used for anything anymore?

I just found out that the special mastery book thing (the 55 coin one) brings your max skill level straight to level 30! So it's like a 20 book and a 30 book rolled into one, and I'm pretty sure it doesn't fail! Glad they're extending the renegades event, because that means I'll have time to save up and max my CL~

@xAznBuGx: 2% belts arent much... like 2-4mill tops, but 4% belts can be anywhere from 6-15mill depending on the stat and buyer. The prices may be/probably are different outside of Scania though. Our economy isn't the best.
And also, there's always a chance you'll get a belt/earring that you want to keep, and you saved a lot of money by doing so.

how much are 4% sold for? and 6% ? thank you btw u should try PAP, i soloed it with level 10 CL , shouldnt be a problem

When I was having financial trouble crafting saved my life. Making a button of belts and shooting for 4% was how I got myself out of a financial rut. It's slow, but you're basically guaranteed to at least make a profit by making stuff sold from just the NPC in Ardentmill.
Oh, this is interesting. I bought 3 I/L MMBs from the Renegades shop, but when I went back to the shop last night, it showed that I have purchased 3 [i]Bishop[/i] MMBs. So does this mean I can buy 3 more I/L ones? o_o

hmmmm, but where is a good place to get them, because im too sucky for LHC and Neo City, plus there is a limit to how many books you can buy in the renegades shop (p.s im super poor, just spent all of my money on my pig mount)
Alright, I now have almost all of my 30 books. But I still don't have a single 20 >.< My CL hits level 10 next level. If I haven't obtained my CL 20 by then (which I almost certainly won't have) should I just wait to assign SP, or increase my other skills for the time being?
Also, once this Renegades event is done, how does one obtain mastery books? I'd like to avoid buying them, as I only have 10 mil to my name... :x
EDIT: @lilazninja, I missed your post the first time. What are those quests? And do they give specific books or the mystery one?

It's more like this:
CL, AA, Infinity/Glacier chain, elquines, blizz, big bang.
^That's good to hear; so far I've gotten AA 30 and Infinity 30 from my mystery books. I still need the 20's though.
I think multiple people are having that problem.
//edit: BTW, once that glitch gets fixed -- if it gets fixed -- what mastery books would be more important to obtain? I mean, ones that are harder to get normally?
Not sure bout prices on books anymore since we have way too many events >.> Umm anywho farm from events, and do the LHC stuff. You get a book from them, also do teh time traveler stuff you get another book there.

Uh oh, looks like the Renegades mystery mastery books are untradeable. Anyone know if they become tradeable once they're used?

I'm curious; what did that do? I was never high enough level to even hear of it... or perhaps it hadn't been implemented during my first stay.
Renegades coins = good.
