Bishop or Phantom I'm going to start playing KMS soon (I live in Korea), and I'm torn between making a Bishop or a Phantom. Here's what I'm taking into consideration: -I plan to play with a party as much as possible (people party Phantoms, right?) -Since I'll be in a new world I'll have no money, so I'm looking for a character that won't be too expensive (mostly in terms of pot burn and mastery books). -But on a related note, I don't care about damage, so it doesn't matter to me if a certain class needs lots of funding to be strong. -I've played two Bishops before (though quite some time ago), so it might be nice to try something new... Thoughts and advice appreciated! :)

Playing with no funds Two summers ago, I came back to Maple after a few years away. A lot (almost everything) had changed since I'd last played, so in order to regain my bearings, I decided to make a fresh start in a new world. I chose to play a new cleric (the first class I'd ever played on Maple), figuring the job would allow even an unfunded player to progress self-sufficiently. I had a blast living the no-meso life! I wasn't concerned about my damage at all, so I was more than happy to make due with the (few) free equips I could get from events. To my surprise, I was even able to hit 4th job (for comparison, before that summer [and way before Big Bang] my highest leveled character was a 113 I/L), and I managed to use my Renegades Coins
Doom or Booster Which should I max? What are the pros and cons of maxing each one? I have never used Doom, so I'm still not quite sure what it's all about.
Who to train during 3x? I'm choosing between my 100 Priest in YMCK and my 133 I/L in Windia. I have a few questions. For the priest: Where should I train during 3x? Will I have trouble getting a spot in popular maps? Is there any "danger" of me hitting 120? ("danger" simply meaning that I'd need to switch to another character for the rest of 3x) For the I/L: What are the chances I'd be able to join an LHC party in Windia during 3x?
How to resume job advancement? Today I was in the middle of doing my magician's 2nd job advancement (19 orb things in) when my laptop started to make strange, very loud noises. I shut down the computer immediately, but now I can't figure out how to resume my job advancement. I tried talking to Grendel, but nothing happened. Any ideas?

Still Unable to Assign Sp Remember the glitch that was telling people "Not all of your 1st or 2nd job SP have been assigned"? I know it got fixed for pirates, but I'm still getting it on my priest. Ever since I did my 3rd job advancement, I haven't been able to assign SP. I sent tickets to Nexon a few weeks back, but I haven't heard back from them. I know this is probably wishful thinking, but does anyone know of any way to fix this?

I/l Mastery Books I recently hit 4th job, and last night I realized I have yet to give any thought to mastery books. Can some one give me an estimate of how much they all cost individually in Windia? Also, is there an efficient way of obtaining them other than buying them? I have some characters who can afford I/L books with their renegades coins- good idea or no? Possibly related: I have a Frozen Book of Ice. Are those used for anything anymore?

Spamming Grenade - Some Questions While grinding on King Pepe today, I discovered the beauty that is Grenade Spam. I just wanted to confirm- in 2nd job is this our best single-target DPS? What about multi-target? Is spamming used in 3rd job and beyond? I know the revamp's coming; I'm enjoying this while I still can :P
Server with Ideal Population Size? Some time in the near future (probably after the pirate revamp), I'm going to move out of Windia, create a Corsair (or Cannoneer if they've returned) in a new world, and play it straight to 120. Renegade Shop Equips I recently returned to Maple and am very unfamiliar with the equips that are currently in existence. On my 117 I/L I have no belt, eye accessory, face accessory, or pendant. Which Renegade items should I prioritize getting, and which ones have easily obtainable (and preferably free) equivalents? For example, even though I'm still in need of a good hat, I'm holding off on the frog one because I'm going to try to get a free Z-Helm soon. EDIT: Forgot one thing- if there are better alternative equips, please let me know what they are.
