Battlemage

What class should I be?

So I decided to make another class since I'm kinda bored of my BaM.

I don't want classes that don't make me feel like I'm playing my BaM all over again. This question is specifically for people who played BattleMages, then something else.

I would recommend Dual Blade and the upcoming Angelic Buster...Angelic Buster is gonna kill us all. So much damage that i wouldnt be suprise me if we all dc because of her power!

Hayato/Kanna if we ever get those classes. They're supposed to be jMS exclusive, but some GM let it transpired that we might get them around xmas.

These would be awesome classes to play.

I switched from my BaM to my Hero although to be fair I've been maining my Hero since I started Maple almost 7 years ago so it's more like I briefly switched over to a BaM for half a year or so. Like an affair or something lol.

So most of you guys recommend Bowmasters and Mercs.

Tbh, always loved Merc alot. I might try them, thanks.

Mercedes, I quit my BaM for it and it's fantastic! Awesome mobility (I never have patience for ropes or ladders anymore haha), fun combos, excellent survivability with 1/1 protection and HP/MP regeneration, and a massive array of cool skills. I highly recommend you play any other mage class then.
Mainly because BaMs have a different playstyle from all the other mages and you most likely have %int/mage equips already for your other mage.

1. Arch Mage F/P (Use of DoT skills, Powerful Mist Eruption. Paralyze will be your main attack.)
2. Arch Mage I/L (Chain lightning and Glacial chain have a ridiculous range. A ranged mage. Easy to train since they have great mobbing attacks.)
3. Bishop (Support your party with buffs. While not as offensive as Arch Mages, A Bishop's supporting skills make up for the lack of offense. Holy Symbol makes training extremely easy. Holy Magic Shell, Resurrection, Dispel, and Heal are a godsend during difficult boss runs.)
4. Evan (Extremely powerful, very useful buffs, Very mobile with dragon glide and Blink. Very fast. Flame Wheel has a VERY LONG RANGE! Almost no Flaw.
Oh wait, there are a few flaws:
-1. You need to buy Magic Guard, Magic Booster, and Critical Magic from the Cash Shop in order to max them. (Basically, you need NX)
-2. Magic Guard can be dispelled by bosses.

5. Luminous (While he is not out yet, Luminous alternates between using the Light/Dark system to his advantage. He has a unique system to his own, sort of like how Arans have Combos.)

Cannoneer.. but then again I love them so it's just biased.

Bowmaster isn't that different, since you just spam hurricane till 200 from 120 onwards.

OR SIMPLE SOLUTION: LEAVE.

Not exactly a mage, just anything that doesn't make me feel the ame as playing my BattleMage.
