Whats your opinion on Bronies

Title says it all. If you make an anti-brony comment, keep the language clean please.

FYI I am a brony, and please keep in mind, we don't all like rule 34, clopping, Cupcakes, etc, etc. Get your facts straight first before you make stereotype remarks. Speaking of straight, we're not all gay either. I'm as straight as they come.

How so? Not to be rude, I'm just curious about all the different views.

It's been really interesting to see your reactions and opinions to this. And I have to thank you for actually keeping the language clean, most people ignore something like that. While I may not see eye to eye with some of you, I respect you for what input you gave. Thanks.

@yumtoast154: There we go, now it's a bit more evident. You never know how much people hate a fanbase that doesn't have much to do with them.
Over a hundred thousand dollars raised? Damn, imagine what I can do with that much money.
Mhm. $150 of that is my own, going into the book publication and the pre-order of both volumes.

As for if I had 100k, I wouldn't know what to do with it...

Pixel artwork? Awesome. Only time I ever tried that was in Minecraft.

I'm not very talented in artwork, so I do the commissioning for artists and projects like this one.
Not only that, but this brony community easily offers a platform for talented individuals to become known.
Likewise with the furry community. ^^

If I recall, weren't you starting to do MLP artwork?

I agree with some of the comments before me. Just don't that * around me. I think it's stupid. Why am I on this thread..?

All of your opinions are valid and noted. I don't understand the oftentimes irrational hatred towards this one fandom though, when the same arguments could be made against any other community/fanbase/etc.

@xxLunaLuvxx: I'm telling random people to kill themselves; of course I'm being serious here.

Suicide is very serious business!

Well, it's better than drugs. As long as it's not near me, idgaf what they do.

I'm neutral, I don't care, and I don't want to have to care. It's not my responsibility to care about other people and their interests.

Same as my opinion on gays.
Go on doing whatever you're doing, just don't do it around me.

Doesn't bother me as long as it's not being shoved to my face, which no one has done yet.
So until then, your president of Thieves is neutral.
Seriously, its ok to like the show but when you actually come up with a term called "brony" thats just too out of hand
apparently people are unable to enjoy something and participate in a community without a label?
it's also unfortunate that brony and pegasister are really, really stupid sounding labels.
self-labeling as a brony/pegasister is stupid
buying MLP products for yourself as a teen/adult is stupid
pretending that the show is something special is stupid (wow, well animated with morals)
and being a fandom, there are all those unsavory portions that just make it even harder to like
Self labeling yourself as a basiler is stupid.
buying products you want as a teen or adult is stupid.
pretending the show isn't something special is stupid. (wow, uplifting and calming)
and being a thing, there are those who will push it in unsavory areas that just make it harder for you to accept.
While you are entitled to what you think, the same can be said of just about anything. that's my point.
Thanks for reading and have a nice night.

Once again, it's a valid opinion, and whether I agree with it or not, I respect it.

There's a very big difference between pony(homosexuals) and a fan of the show.

@yumtoast154: You must feel like a badass, telling us to shoot ourselves.
Besides, it's difficult to sense if you're being serious or not.

Now my question for anti-bronies/brony haters-Did you ever look at the show with an open mind? I had a hard time looking at it tht way, and so did a lot of others, but we looked past it. You know, a show that not only acknowledges the fans, but also listens to them and embraces them, from whatever viewpoint or demographic they come from, well, they at least deserve some credit.
And as for the bronies and pegasisters themselves, look past the creepypastas, weird fanfics, rule 34, etc, etc. Look at some of the beautiful art thats been created because of the show. Things like visual art, music, and the actual good fanfics. When you take it all in with an open mind, with no predetermined judgments, you can see a wonderful fandom, and in my opinion, one of the best that's ever existed.

I never said it was a bad thing. I'm a furry myself. I just find it interesting that the brony community shares many similarities with the furry community.

We all gathered together into a community until a common interest, the bronies being MLP and the furries being anthros, we have tons of artists, musicians, writers and other talented people contributing to the communities, and we even both have conventions around the US.

Just something I've been thinking of over the past few months.
If you talk about MLP in real life: kill yourself.

If you talk about MLP on the Internet on a non-MLP related place: jump off a bridge.

If you're an MLP fan that attempts to justify being an MLP fan to haters: shoot yourself.

If you're a normal MLP fan: I'd recommend finding a new hobby.
Killing yourself for enjoying a show?
Oh my, this must be a horrible show, promoting horrible actions.
