Took a LONG Break, need help getting back in the swing So I've played MS off and on for the better part of the last 8 or so years, just returned after nearly a year of not touching the game. Decided to begin fresh in Reboot, so ignore the currently displayed character info. Still playing a Phantom, got up to third class over the least two days (yay summer break :P ) I'm mostly doing fine, I'm just curious about the current anniversary event. What's the most efficient way of earning coins? I want to get as much of the armor as possible, accessories are secondary, and a weapon is clearly beyond my reach at this point. But the armor is sick and I'd kinda like it. So far, over the course of maybe 12 hours of play, I haven't been keeping track r
Came back from Hiatus-Fools Gold I started going back to nlc recently after coming back from a hiatus, and I was wondering, is the Fool's Gold quest still around?
Favorite movie and Line from it I'll go first: Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, "So long and thanks for all the fish!" or, "In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."
P/c on Blue Neos Pants Got them from Root Abyss. Stats Are: +9 STR, +3 ACC, +100 Mag Def., and +6% STR.
New Leaf Cityplease be normal again I know I'm probably going to get some crap for this, but, hey it annoys me. It's quite clear the invasion of NLC was supposed to be only a temporary event, and eventually go back to normal. One of my friends just came off of hiatus, and complained about it. It's a valid point. A lot of the things that, for me and a number of other, made New Leaf fun no longer exist. Like the scroll quest that helped give newbies some starting funds, or Lita Lawless' quests that involved the Leprechauns, Bigfoot, and The Headless Horseman. I don't know...the aliens are great for exp and all, but maybe, could we go back to having nlc and the surrounding areas looking like they used to?
Best way to earn Nx? Well, title. Out of the available methods offered to us to earn nx, what would you here on Basil recommend? And don't give me stupid answers like "just pay for nx" be it in-game(illegal) or the normal methods, like Karma Koins, etc. I don't pay for pixels.
A Solid Maplestory Timeline? There are some inconsistencies. What are your solutions? 1. Alcaster states he has done magic in El Nath for 300 years. Some sources say the heroes were on ice for only a century. This would mean they overlapped. However, in Phantom's storyline, Alcaster is stated to not have even been ALIVE when the heroes were in commission. 2. Empress Cygnus. She's Aria's niece, no? That would make her at least 100 years old, yet she is called a child empress. We can chalk that one up to the people of Maple World in general having insane lifespans though, so this one's not major. 3. Some other characters make reference to the heroes being gone for "hundreds of years" or "centuries" while others simp
Sengoku Coin Pq Question I keep hearing rumors that if you do seven different pqs 5 runs each, you get 40 coins. 1. Is this True? 2. If so, do you have to do all the quests in one day? If that's the case, I'm just going to get the recipe for 15 coins and craft it.
Secrets behind the Dark Contract? Should I do it? I've heard/read that you DEFINITELY lose fame and that it's random. While fame is easy enough to recover, I may as well just forfeit the quest unless there's a lucrative reward in it.
Quests for Fun and Profit? Let me clarify: I need a quest I can profit from, in the 70+ range. I hate grinding, so I usually take to doing quests, where grinding at least gets me somewhere, but I can't find specific quests that are good for making money >.< . I'd love to be able to do the Rex PQ, but in my experience, you practically have to be in a guild with a lot of active members to be able to get a party...
Consistency Fail, just for fun So I was playing my Phantom and just enjoying myself. Like most people, in the opening cutscene, the one in the Ereve Court, I noticed (male)Aran. Okay, no issue here really. Well, later on some stuff happens and you go to Rien, and you see Aran. As a female. I don't know if the gender of the Aran npc varies between player gender, but this seemed to be an utter failure in terms of staying consistent. I thought it was pretty funny. Now to the point, what are some other points in the game where there are Consistency Fails?
Do the Scissors of Karma work like Sharing Tags? As in, allow a movement within the same account? I got Michaela's Glasses from Xerxes on my Luminous, but want them for my Phantom, but sharing tags can't be used on the glasses. So do I buy the SoK and transfer it via storage, or am I out of luck?
Is it me or are the Ice Pillars gone? I was playing the board game with my lumi, and got Icarus' quest, and then I noticed there are no Ice Pillars, fish tanks, fruit trees, etc, ANYWHERE anymore. Did nexon remove them in the patch, or did I just have bad luck? If they removed them, smooth move, tempest has a week left and one of the quests can't be completed.
Possible to get entire Tempest Set Wep? So yeah, title. I managed to get 110 or so coins in the past two days, it's all I have. Now consider the fact I'm a student, so during the week I won't have the time to say, hunt 200 monsters 10 times a day, or get around the game board a ton. So yeah, in the remaining event time, is it feasible for me to get enough coins for the entire tempest set, plus possibly the Tempest Arc-en-Ciel?
A Stat Build for Phantoms? No Raven Persona I need one. I just came back from about a year-long hiatus, and I was wondering what a good stat build would be since I have no access to the Raven Persona. Still the same, ergo dexless? Or go for low dex? I'm not really funded, so I have to take that into consideration.
Whats your opinion on Bronies Title says it all. If you make an anti-brony comment, keep the language clean please. FYI I am a brony, and please keep in mind, we don't all like rule 34, clopping, Cupcakes, etc, etc. Get your facts straight first before you make stereotype remarks. Speaking of straight, we're not all gay either. I'm as straight as they come.
