I thought it always depend on class. Cannoneers get quite a lot.
explorer pirates get 48 slots upon 2nd job advancement thanks to the master of storage
Explorer pirates have expanded slots if that helps...
Zero gets 48 slots.
I believe warriors (adventurers at least) get more slots than the others.
