@1234abt: my lebrons have too much dead space so...
edit: oh and haha, i guess you guys don't know. i'm a dappered/ball kinda guy, so all the socks i own that are even remotely suitable for basketball are just elites. i don't have any other nike socks. the rest of my stuff are dress socks
@416ix: Im looking at my elite socks that I used once a week for maybe about a total of 20 uses, and theyre so close in thickness compared to my other nike socks. I've found regular socks to be more comforting because the elites are sometimes too thick when I sweat into them
@khazix haha, thanks for the one useful reply. what's gold bond?
Powder my friend, you can also try chalk to keep ur feet dry, although that may cause a blister idk..
@1234ABT I don't, but it's a preference. It doesnt make much of a difference really, but it's still more than the average sock, so why not?
Do you really need to use Elites that badly? LOL. There really isn't much cushion than the regular socks that Nike offers. I play basketball and volleyball and I could care less. You also stated that you and your teammates have the same problem with Elite socks so you probably can't fix the problem anyways.
@khazix haha, thanks for the one useful reply. what's gold bond?
We used nike elites 24/7, try putting some gold bond in ur shoe and get some on ur hands, put it on ur bare foot, then put some around the sock (and inside it)where the shoe covers. Or u can be ghetto and just spray some axe on ur sock and shoes before u ball works too
if you're complaining about the cushion of your socks then basketball isn't the right sport for you
the black nike socks do the job just fine
haha excuse you,
i'm complaining about the smell. you must have gotten confused from what the other person took completely out of context.
i can do just fine with normal tube socks. i just prefer the feeling of the elites. we all have preferences, no?

@crispychream: it comes back right away. the second i add moisture to it, it starts smelling. trust me this is a thoroughly recognized problem with dri-fit.
@crispychream nah man, my feet are like, a quarter as bad with any other socks. trust me, all my teammates and just a lot of people who have experience with the socks in general know about this problem. the dri-fit fabric pulls away the sweat but locks it in.
@crispychream: maybe so, but i don't like having to pinch my nose shut the second i unlace my shoes, u feel? the smell is actually strong ok you wouldnt understand
@ritopls: so?
i'm not complaining about taking trains because i have a court available, along with everything else i need to play basketball. the only thing left to complain about are my socks.
understand what i'm saying? try not to be so ignorant.
i need the extra cushioning and padding for my quick cuts and slides
I know kids who take the train to my college's campus because it's the only place with courts that have lights in the immediate area.
And you're over here talking about cushioning.
yo mine too and they get maaaaad sweaty </3
@hardtomiss: Agreed
Ball isn't lyfe den
but @duzz
they're nike elites
other socks dont do it for ball. i need the extra cushioning and padding for my quick cuts and slides
but they smell bad omg
Avoid polyester socks. Get cotton socks.
