Do you act knowing the consequences?
Well, do you? I certainly do. Not bothering with a long story short, because this isn't long.
About six months ago, I went against my sister's demands which were for me not to complete The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword before her.
At that time, we were both about 80% complete with the non-Hero mode of the game. I proceeded to beat the game without her knowing over the course of a week.
I saved the file with my new Hero mode account on an SD card and hid it, while I kept a copy of the file with both of our 80% complete accounts on it.
About a month ago, my hard drive failed hardcore. I lost all of my files; Zelda accounts included.
So, on the Wii, the only file left was the most updated one with my 60% Hero mode account and her 80% non-Hero mode account.
Finally, after six months of her not playing the game- for odd reasons of her own- she decided to play today.
She powered the Wii, entered the starting screen, saw the lot, got aggravated, and took her Wii.
I knew what would happen, but I honestly could care less if she's angry. She knows I finish what I start, and that I finish everything before her.
*[Tobenoted: She paid for the game, the Wii is hers. Yet she dropped using either for 6 months.]
So, anyways, y'all got any stories?

I always think of the consenquences. I fully understand them too, but I just don't care.
If you ever pirated anything, you did.
Yeah, sometimes I do.
Sometimes, if I think it's worth it.
I regret reading this. I don't usually say this, but OP gave me cancer.

what does the long story about your hard drive failing have to do with acting knowing the consequences?
I swear, the whole story can be summed up in:
"I beat Skyward sword before my sis did. She's now going to be mad at me but idc"
OT: I know that by not doing my hw or sleeping over the weekend, it's going to come back and bite me in the ass[/quote]
It's basically, when you choose to do something someone asks you not to do, do you really think of what could happen.
For example, parents tell you to do take out the trash, you choose not to. Doy ou actually think beforehand of what could happen? Would they ground you? Kill you? Lecture you? Etc.

Given she's female; yeah.
Is she going to hold a long but petty grudge?
