The ability to sell your item at any point in time holds more value than the minor stat advantage that the frozen card has. Even if you don't switch classes for a year or two there's hardly any value in using a frozen carte as an end game item.
@aerodragoon: Even if you know you'll never be quitting your class or selling your equipment, I would go against using items with no resell value. For example, since we can use a Blackgate City mask instead of a SW Tattoo, I would use that instead because you can PSoK it. Though those two items are bad to compare since many cube SW Tattoo/Glasses for profit which can be more beneficial depending on your plan.

Poor resale value is still better than not being able to sell the item at all.
Carte Finale is a better choice once you get one that had a good potential, don't waste money trying to cube an untradeable Carte.
just keep your frozen carte. show dedication to your class. the carte finale will have poo as resale value anyway. not to mention it will be a headache to find a legit buyer for it.
