I agree. There are two people in particular, Y.T.M.S. that your talking about, and E.c.k.o. as well, that are neither one anything special. They gained their infamy through lies and deception of the idiots of the general population. Neither of them are a danger or threat to anyone else playing. Neither of them can "hack" anyone's account, and I personally know someone worth 100's of billions in pure that has publicly confronted both of them, both in game and outside game, and dared them outright to take his accounts, items, and mesos. Neither of them could, because they can't. Their infamy is based on misconception and lies told by themselves.

E.c.k.o. used a commonly known-about PIC bypass using lag at the time to gain access to a GM's account, of which the GM posted his info into the scroller at the top. No skill involved. He also stripped other players accounts using stupidity, ie; they trusted him and thought he was a friend. Don't forget also the phishing sites that were primarily used to gain people's information as well. He then presented himself as some sort of uberhax0r that could brute force take accounts from people if they didn't kiss his ass.

Y.T.M.S. did the same thing but without the luck of having a GM post their info. He gained people's account information with phishing sites, and then, just to scare the hell out of everyone and act as though he was something special, after gaining a list of idiots stupid enough to be tricked out of their info, he posted the list of accounts phished on multiple forums pretended to be someone else, claiming "ZOMG Y.T.M.S. HAXED DA DATABASE!11!1!", and sure enough, 90% of the community was stupid enough to fall for it.

So while these two players have absolutely no real power over other players to speak of, the only power they do have is totally psychologically gained and was handed to them by the community, not from anything they are actually capable of. It's been given to them out of stupidity and unwarranted fear. Neither of them can hurt anyone, and both feed off the attention gained from others being ignorant and stupidly scared of them. Anytime there's a lack of people paying attention to them or one of them are feeling unimportant, they get on a friend's Basil or Sleepy account, chat themselves up all big and scary, and try to stir up some attention for themselves.
