I'm not sure if this has happened to anyone else, but I've noticed I've lagged a lot more in PvP now. Perhaps it's the influx of all these new players. If that's the case, then I really don't like this new event.

I tried to do PVP, waited 10 minutes on FFA, and not one person joined (both on my DS, 30-70, and on my Cannon, 120-180)

True, harder to kill, but still no where near the tank it should be in comparison to the lack of attack speed and mobility. Though I suppose even the other warriors should be tougher. Idk, I just feel like I was so nerfed in pvp compare to other classes when having to try and chase down ranged attackers flying around the arena.

OT: I'm pretty okay with the event. It's been the same ol' pros in Broa's PvP with a side dish of newbies, so more new people would add a bit of variety than the usual bunch. Plus, the event requires them to actively participate, and we all get more points that way. ^^

not really, it's hard to kill one even if you are a full pvp set user. as comparison to other warrior classes

paladins feel kinda screwed, since they seem to be as soft as other classes and yet can't attack very fast nor rack up the scores like other classes because of the slow attacks and lack of mobility. I can't guarantee to break a 1000 every game when some people clear 1500 just because of class machine gun skills....

Still, I guess enjoy it while you can.

Yeah, gotta give those two props (a bit less for Vile though. Her ults are well placed, but she spams at me while I'm in Dark Sight a bit too much lol). xD

The only PvP I really do is Capture the Flag. That's a lot of fun~

But, I don't mind new people. Means I can mess around with iFrames more.

One thing I hate though about PVP that I've seen a lot lately, is how people will get the number 1 spot and then chicken out when they get the star of death above their heads by staying up in the safe zone. I call them names like "Pu$$y" and such. When I get the star of death, I get so excited because that means everybody is going to try and get in my face which often means more kills for me.
God I love PvP.

Anything that revives life into the dying beast that is pvp is a good thing in my eyes. Sure you are going to get an influx of noobie pvpers but hopefully they enjoy the experience enough to get better at it and continue playing it.

@orangeking11: Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. Before this event, I enjoyed PvP immensely because really only the best of the best would play. Now, all these noobs are pouring in who can't even get over 400 points a game.

@Extractor: No, you're right. They're closing it down for a while to revamp it or something, I'm not sure. You'll get Emblems from monster drops.

@countonme2: Only easy points if you were good at PvP before hand.

I don't ever do PvP in first place. I think it's a pretty nice event because the noobs can get gallant emblems easier.
And it's only temporarily. No sweat.

it might go back to how it was in a bit.

but I think PVP is closing down in half a year for a revamp so people will be able to gain GP another way until it re-opens.
someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

The challenge comes when another good player comes in and competes for kills. I/Ls have it easy, but I'm sure a good F/P, DrK, or Aran could sweep up a lot of points too from your score. xD

Edit: If you want a challenge, make a WH and PVP in 120+. xD

Hm, that's true. Plus, I think it's also because PvP used to not be as crowded, and now I feel that it's become mainstream.
