Faf set or Empress
Sooo, i get that the Faf set is stronger, but the emp set also gives good defense, whereas the faf set gives no defense. Sooo, even though the faf set hits better, would it be better to get the empress set instead?

Most classes can get 9999 defence without much difficulty, it doesn't even seem to help as much as it used to (pre bb) and most bosses hit %hp damage anyways.

But if you think about it, emp set reduces abnormal status which may be useful.

The more you fund, the more defence you'll get, even without worrying about it. You'll gain def through gaining str%.
Hilariously enough, defense is one of the only stats that has been completely and utterly useless since the dawn of maple.

Defense is meaningless when it's % attacks, seduce, and damage reflect killing you.
You're a paladin, it's pretty much like adding wood to a brick wall.
Just go for the fafnir set imo.
