The amount of profanity in this game is probably the reason why it's labeled as an adult game. There are probably more adults on this game than there are kids. LuL

games that are aimed towards kids are way more strict than maplestory. Their security as well aka mods and gms crack down very hard on people who break the rules. Maplestory for one does not do that. You can get away with almost anything in maplestory when it comes to verbal abuse. And usually when people say children's games, i'd assume they would aim that towards the ages 12 and under.

At my school you can go on youtube, but you can't go on the Maplestory's website... >.<

sometimes its not the game its the players on the game...

i mean you have young people and older players playing joking around
but their jokes do go to far

weather they are a young player or older player...
joking around can go to far and alot maplers take it to far and nothing done about it

if you go take quick look at rules prolly over 85% of maple players have broke rules while talking or joking around with other maplers

The older variants of halo (2 and 3) actually took a tremendous amount of skill to be good at, and involved being able to make split second decisions, and then being able to follow up on them with good hand eye co ordination.
They were simple to the casual players, but had much more depth to them that you only ever really learned once you started playing with competitive (skilled) players.
Sort of like maplestory in a sense, to the casual player it is spam one skill, but to the more so hardcore players the game is much more than that.
The newer ones are easy, I agree there, but I'd argue the original trilogy was a lot less simple than maplestory.
And cod, cod is simple as all heck. I agree there.

if u would consider how many more adults play this game than younger kids, they would classify it as an adult game
