Colossus Quests
First quest: Kill 80 Mantises and Blood Mantises. No biggie.
Second quest: Kill 100 Mantises, 100 Blood Mantises and 150 Poison Mantises.

Time to not do colossus quests.

You're missing out.
I guess you didn't play when Sleepywood had those kill 999 of this monster (-several of these quests, mind you-) and they had TERRIBLE exp rewards... and unfortunately, that was the best you could hope for at the time.

Kill 100 xxx and 100 zzz then next quest, bring 100 loots from xxx and zzz >.<
@above: im pretty sure the 'dying animation' of the monsters also hit you, making it pretty much impossible to complete..
Um well killing reminds me of the chryse quest line. Collect 50 etc drops. Then collect 100 etc drops
