Selling that for 10bil to some guy I had a little conversation with in my shop.
Was a nice guy, and in uni, so I SHALL MAKE HIS DAY... of course not for free though >.> I can only be so nice. ^^
Have you guys ever just said F it and done something like this?
Ever just talk to someone and randomly do something for them?

I do. Typically when an item I need is being sold on the current market and I would otherwise have a very difficult time finding it again...then I feel comfortable overpaying because it simply fits in with the notion of supply and demand. Theres almost zero supply of said item and I need it. If I can't afford it I will drop prices on things to move them extremely fast in order to purchase the item so that I don't lose my shot at buying it forever. It's worth it to me and I think thats a perfectly logical and mature risk/reward to take in those situations.
Examples of items I've undersold my stock to buy: Spring Flower Corsage, Giant Ducky Chair, Doomsday Staff(back in 2006), Elemental Wand(back in 2007 when bishops could use them), Tyrant Altair Gloves, etc.
..10b is insanely cheap. I wish I met someone like you who would do that for me! </3
I give out free hugs... sometimes
~I give away tyrant capes with 3-5 stars if they're wasting invo space or the person is a pleasure to talk to. They just have to give me a P'SoK. Cause I aint made of 4k nx.

i give out free stars, free zak/ht drops (ring,earring,face accessory,eye accessory) to random noobs i see
I just cut the price of unique CRA equips by half in my shop. With these 2x drop events every week, I'm going to have way too much stuff to be able to sell them at a decent rate under normal prices.
I saw two noobies complaining about my not having enough mesos to buy my CRA so i gave him the weapon for free. His buddy thought i was talking to him so i gave him a +7 70% dimon wand with 9%magic att unique. I wouldn't have been using it anyways, but i do feel like i let him overstep my boundaries XD

if i talk to someone who dosnt seem like a SOB in alliance and i know they dont have much mesos i buy them their CRA wep or full set if thats relevant
