Shifted my Tv and it wont turn on anymore

Just saying to everyone. I am not a person that deals with this kind of stuff. I shifted my TV a little and it turned off. I think it was a wire that was attached to it and it disconnected from the TV. Since it s in a home theater I can t see what wire got detached. The power button the TV won t turn it on, but the video box turns on. So it has to be a wire that connects to the TV to make the power button turned on. Can someone please assist me on what wire connects to the TV to make the power button turn it on? And also the remote won`t turn the TV on. It`s an Elite TV, I don`t know if its a brand or not because it`s on the front of the TV. I`ve had it for 4 years. It`s not under warranty which is not good at all. All help would be appreciated!

What do the two cables that aren't attached to anything look like? Try following those wires and see if one of them lead to a power brick or wall socket, if they do then you just need to plug one of them back in to the back of the TV to get it working. Plenty of TVs and monitors come with power cords that aren't connected to the TV and you need to plug in both ends.

Something like this

From your description it sounds like the power cord fell out of its socket on the back of the TV.
Find the user manual or look it up online (Google the TV's manufacturer's name and the model number) and find out where the power cord connects then check whether it's still plugged in.or not.

If you can't see the model number you'll have to do some detective work. Measure the diagonal size of the TV from upper corner on one side to the lower corner on the other size and use that to narrow down the search on the manufacturer's web site for models that look like your TV. If the remote has a model number on it you may also be able to find out what TVs it came with which can narrow it down even more.
Eventually you should be able to locate the user manual for the TV which will tell you where to look for the connectors and what each one does.

Another possibility is that the home theater receiver unit has a remote power connection to the TV which fell out. You'll definitely need the TV's user manual to find out if the TV has a connection like that and where it plugs in so you can check to see if it's still connected.

Failing all that, Geek Squad can fix it, but they'll charge a service call fee of course.

No, I only saw 2 cords in the back of the TV that were detached, I tried to find where they would go but they wouldn't go anywhere... And none of them looked like the power cord.
