Kmst 1.2.513 Spikes Royale change?
Legendary Spear: can no longer be used in the air
Anyone have an idea what this means? Didn't SR trigger from the ground? Or will it be that we'll no longer get launched in the air when we do SR?

I believe they allows Spiked to be cast in the air in kmst, but it messed up something.

I'm pretty sure the notes stated that jump casting spikes kind of broke the combo chain, as using gust dive after jump+spikes didn't land you on the ground. Not sure why they did this change, since players could just not jump cast spikes, but eh. Losing that extra bit of vertical mobility won't kill the class. It just means that you have to spend a few extra seconds when travelling through a vertical map.
@edit: from what I heard from my friend who mains a Mercedes, you could never jump cast Spikes in the first place. You used spikes then leap tornado, so I seriously don't get why people are calling this a nerf.

I think all they mean by that is
you can't jump and then cast SR
if you think about it, SR already launches you into the air when you cast it, meant to be linked with Leap Tornado
but you could also jump and then cast SR for a really high jump, and I guess they decided that was too OP
so you can only cast it from the ground now
