The problem with the current Ms community
I've been noticing a lot of complaints about how the current maplers are obsess with damage and this obsession with damage has diminish the maplestory community. However, there have always been a lot of damage crazy people before. From my memories, they were far more obnoxious (dexless sins with ilbis). You can't even train normally without them flaunting off their stars and their skimpy bathrobes. Nowadays, there seems to be less of that. Damage obsessed folks mainly stay in the fm and try to undercut one another in a brutal mesos blood bath.
You know what I think is the biggest problem with our community nowadays? It's the god dam internet bridge dwellers. They are everywhere... literally. I swear to every deity, back when I was starting out, there were rarely any trolls. They existed definitely, but they were few and their numbers were in the minority. The title of "internet troll" wasn't even a thing if my memories served me correctly. With all this being said, maplers who care about this issue, please do me favor and stop feeding them. They are getting way too dam big. Enough is enough, let them starve and die out so peace can once again return to the land of maplestory. Thank you!

The economy is being controlled by invisible people. Invisible = not obnoxious since you and I don't even know who they are.
They are a growing problem for the maplestory community and I think this issue must be addressed. They used to be non existent. Now I can't even hang out in peace without a couple of them coming out of the wood works. Ignoring usually does the trick, but other maplers don't get this. They take the troll bait and then the trolls multiply. Maybe you don't care about immature folks on maplestory, but there seems to much more of them and they are starting to affect the social aspect of the game negatively.
There are, but I have a feeling that's probably due to Nexon nerfing all the op maps lower level maps such as jesters. However, the trolls do manage to find their way to populated training maps to ks from time to time.
on the other hand, there is little complaint nowadays of kill stealers.
I agree, the one percent has undergone a metamorphosis and is now affecting people negatively in other areas. But, for this topic specifically, they don't play such a detrimental role as trolls seem to do. If you have your own theory on how the one percent influence maplers on a social level, I would love to hear it.
