Fusing amp Transposing

I just came back to maplestory from long break and I got my self a bit back up. I have seen many people with fafnir claws fused into transparent claws? And some who have "transposed" their weapons into others? Could someone please explain to me how and why?

Thanks in advance .

Oh, yeah. Sweet water items are untradeable once equipped. However, if you PSOK the item before you transpose it, you can trade the item once after it becomes a sweet water. And, not every item should be transposed. Usually transposed items have higher attack speeds, but it does come at a loss. People mainly don't transpose due to the fact that the item becomes untradeable or only is available for trade once after transposed and then it becomes permanently locked.

And if you want the best possible result, do not enhance it with starforce past 1 star before transposing. Only scroll it to what you want and perhaps tier it up. When you transpose, the item potential also resets, but you keep the tier of the potential.

The fusion anvil is always available in the cash shop. And yes, there are no advantages to using the anvil, it will only change the appearance of an item to that of another in the same category. anvilling does not work on cash items. But yes, there is a normal equip that is a transparent claw.

Transposing allows you to transfer over the bonus stats on an item that is level 140-150 to the corresponding equip that is a sweet water item. For example, if you have a level 150 claw that has 10 extra attack from scrolling, you can transpose it to a sweet water claw and that sweet water claw will then have the original stats of the sweet water claw + 10 attack. The bonus stats from the sweet water claw prior to transposing will be lost. Transposing also loses one star visually, but you keep the bonus effects of the star that you lost. To transpose an item, you need the item that you want to transpose and the corresponding sweet water item in your inv. You transpose with the guy in san commerci and it takes 10 dennaro and has a 3% chance for success.

Advantages of transposing lets you have better bonuses when enhancing due to the fact that that sweet water items have higher base stats than other equips. However, they do not have the same % boss stats as a fafnir or whatever.

No quests, nothing of that sort. All you need to do is buy a Fusion Anvil from the Cash Shop and you can change the appearance of your equipment into something else. Though I'm not sure if it's in the Cash Shop right now. Last I recall Nexon only makes them available during special sales.

fusing makes an item look like another item in the same category and transposing transfers the scroll upgrades and enhacements from one equip to another (both have to be 140+ i believe
