High school really isn't as bad as you may think.
As long as you don't stand out too much, can make some all right friends, make good grades, and get involved, you'll have an all right time.

Once you can drive, I really suggest getting involved in school activities and social things in general. It makes your time a lot more bearable.
Also, if you are ever curious about trying marijuana, definitely try it. It's not some devil's plant like people want you to believe.
As long as you don't let it take up all of your time, you can be an involved, close to straight A student like myself and many others out there.
It also gives you SO many opportunities to socialize. It's freaking insane.

Join clubs. Clubs are a lot of fun in high school.

Don't get caught in the group of "swaggie hypebeasts." My friend, who got straight A's throughout middle school, got trapped and is now getting B's and C's, while the rest of our group is maintaining straight A's.

Please, please, don't annoy the hell out of your seniors.
I am a teacher's aid and his class is full of freshman who are as immature as 9 year olds.
Whatever you do, don't become THAT freshman. If you do that, you're good to go.

Freshmen Friday is real, be on guard for 3 weeks. Oh and if you're school is having a "Freshmen Rally", do not be the first to walk outisde after it's over because Seniors and Juniors are all lurking out there waiting for fresh meat
