A message to you nx spenders and addicts

I kindly and with respect fully towards you attractive basilers tell you that you're wrong. yes! You heard me wrong.
You may ask "about what sir". Good question lad, well here's the thing, you know deep down that getting attached and spending
Real money on this game is wrong, yet you do it so much you forced your self to believe its okay and
That if a fellow beautiful, most handsome and very smart basiler like me says it's wrong you hate on him.

Common excuses
-im in college and do what I want . That should never be an excuse to make false decisions
-it's my money. No one said it isn't
-your poor with none so you bash others without it. Well truthfully I don't have 25 bucks on me.

-funniest one: we spend on food and clothing.>>> You can do everything and visit all the places and finish all the
Content without a single dime

The only legit reason I see is if nx contributed to the game but you don't need it, nx isn't maple story it's adding clothing to the game, you can do all the content
Without it so stop saying its like spending money on video games

I apologize if I offended any one in any way shape or form,

Yours truly, the smart decision making basilerj

Don't assume that people who buy NX just do for the clothes, there are 2x exp, pets, meso bags, etc.

To put it in short words of this whole thread. Don't criticize on what people do with their money. It what they THEMSELVES want to do with it, they have the right to do what they want; they have the freedom to do with it; unlike other countries.

Their both entertainment. So from this point you made, I'll make one for you too. You can go admire a tree in your backyard, without spending money on a cruise. Now think back to the point you made, and why do people go on a cruise, and compare to why people spend nx. Let me answer it for you, because when people get nx they get better things than other people, there for they feel superior and feel happier, and human nature likes feeling better than others/ happy. Also because some pixels look pretty cool. BTW think back to what the objective of the game is; lvling, get money, quests, etc? getting nx will help them achieve their goals faster, and we play because in some way we think it's fun.

Nexon has to make money or why else would they keep up with us whiny players. If no one bought nx Nexon would have to close down .

You actually have yet to make an argument of why it is 'wrong' in your post. I agree that people tend to spend too much money on this game, but I would think that way about most any game. If they have disposable income, well whether they spend it here or on their bf/gf, sports, movies, etc. It matters not, since it is entertainment and that is what they are using their money for. So chances are you don't have the level of disposable income others do, so you can't comprehend why someone would use money for such. That or you are just trying to be a jerk for the sake of it.

Playing a game is a hobby. People spend money on a hobby. You may like to fish, You may spend money on fishing.
You may find people on the streets at night, you may pay for that.

Deal with it, It's a hobby.

It's the same concept with food, isn't it? I don't really spend money on NX, but I like to indulge in more food. For example, I'd rather spend $10 on a ice cream cone at a parlour than $5 for a tub at Wal-Mart. What's wrong with spending money on something you like? :o

If my cousin can spend $45,000 on learning violin only to drop it in his senior year of high school, then I can spend $5,000 on Maple.
Besides, it's better than spending $60 per video game. People have 20-30 games in their PS3/XBOX360/Wii collections... how much is 20-30 games? 1200 to 1800.

How is spending money on NX any different than seeing a movie with friends or going out to eat? Or buying a video game for your game console(or PC), or buying new shoes...

The money is spent on entertainment. If we worked hard for our money, we are entitled to spend it how we please.

(spent probably 100-150 on NX and don't regret it at all)

@BattleScar: Actually I still do think it's the same.
Sure nx expires but so does your time at a cruise.
You use both as a way to have fun and enjoy yourself.
If you go on a cruise, you pay more than your suppose to to have more fun.
If you play on Maplestory, you pay more than your suppose to to have more fun too.
If you don't like spending money on a game, that's just your choice but no matter how you look at it, they are both ways of entertainment that you might or might not be spending money on.

You don't govern whats the right or wrong way to spend my money. I don't need to justify myself by saying it's my money etc. I have fun, spending money on a game is enjoyable to me and hurts no-one. I'll admit, a few times I've thought that it was a waste in hindsight, but not wrong. What would be wrong is blowing off food, clothing or supporting your family to gach.

While your at it, why don't you criticize anyone that has dropped a dime on a movie or game.

Yay? So you're superior to me just because you refuse to spend money on a game? Sure this might not be the best way to spend my money but it doesn't harm me. I can go ahead and go buy drugs and get hooked to that. I rather play something I enjoy than do anything that will kill me easily.

I don't think there's a right and wrong when it comes to spending your money unless there's a moral issue involved.
I also don't think it's your place to tell everyone how not to spend their money.
You can feel superior all you want in thinking that you made the "smart decision" but if it makes people happy to get cute pixels and stronk damage then that's none of your business.
