Sad days for NLs again

Didn't fix skill buff animation frames. Still takes forever to buff up off a rope
Didn't add back shadow star being useable while still attacking
Kept Shade Splitter
Didn't Fix triple and quad throw
No vertical rope skill for maximum mobility
Shadow Partner still 70%

Basically all I see them doing is increasing some %'s and calling it a day. Can we get GMS to do our revamp instead of KMS? Can we just get reverted back to original NL's? I prefer original compared to this 2nd "upgrade" we received...

Sigh... Reading some of this stuff makes me hate the revamp even more...

BTW guys, I thought I mentioned that the old Taunt doesnt work with SP as well. The new taunt might have not been coded to work with SP yet, so that is probably why SP is not being applied. But if that is how Taunt is going to be... I want the Reinforcements back on Shadow Splitter. Taunt is worthless to me other than the exp/drop if they dont add in the SP effect.

I'm wondering how big MoA's radius is... also I was really hoping Showdown Challenge would be a bind but no. Also, give us Shadow Meld.

According to the %'s, using Showdown Challenge(Taunt) would only be useful when fighting MORE than 3 enemies...
That truly is sad. All I ask is that they make the change for Taunt to work with Shadow Partner. That way it would be useful when fighting just 2+ enemies.
Not to mention, actually be BETTER than our old shadesplit because currently, it's worse.

Edit: and @TerYanPui : Only our Purge Zone(Purge Area) will need a hyper skill to affect bosses. Our new Taunt will affect bosses either way.

Apparently so. That's a nice change.
Use it on Zak arms, partner up with a DemonSlayer using Cry, get a pile of boosted exp. Yum.

@caryofilles: I totally forgot we had a dark sight skill I never used it because it just felt so useless lol, but now that it avoids magnus rocks and stuff it's so much more useful.

Will this improved taunt work on boss mobs? Like at LHC and SH?

Yes, upward mobility, we really should get, downward mobility don't really care cause of downward jump anyway.

Survivability, we really need something to complement shadow shifter.

@bubblecup118: Yeah. There's a few other things that I'd like us to have as well: vertical mobility (maybe downward too), and survivability (lacking an Evasion Rate, defense multiplier, and damage reduction).

New Taunt with Reinforce at faster (2) speeds of 750 ms: 1978% damage per second to 1 target.

If it had SP, it would be 3362% damage per second. That's a crucial loss of -1384%.

I honestly cannot even believe that nexon even considered releasing such a joke after doing the warrior/mage/bowman revamps. This "revamp" is hardly a few skill changes while warriors, mages, and bowmen get completely new skills and playstyles. Disappointed.

I agree that we were expecting more but it does solve some issues we had

- Finally 4th job mobber, it even debuffs and give +30% exp and drop rate. However I prefer it to be a passive effect so we don't have to keep switching between that and QS/QT
- Claw expert gives +15 max crit damage but we lost +15% avoid
- Double flash jump however no upward flash jump -_-, what is this?
- QT nice buff
- Frailty Curse works in bosses = good, requires 1 point on a hyper = BAD, +10% boss damage passive = GOOD
- Specialised skill is aright, I like the stars flying around

@JoshKimODPC Quad star went from 293% --> 378%

@TripleBladez Do I see that 4th job mobber doesn't work with SP?

@Bleky: I would say a little more than a minor buff. But I do agree with you. There were things I was hoping for too, but I'm not at all disappointed with these changes as it is. A little more avoid, hp, or defense would have been nice along with a vertical flash jump, but I'm cool with what we got.

I'm going to enjoy being able to use dark sight whenever I want without having to recast haste and getting that extra 30% exp/drop from using taunt as our main mobbing. I wonder if the 30% bonus still applies even if we 1hko the mobs with showdown challenge(Taunt)?

shade splitter is the best mobbing skill NLs have, and its super weak...NLs are always getting shoved aside when it comes to revamps.

I know we got many changes from justice patch, but I was expecting more than this from RED. I thought they were working really hard on thieves and pirates since there wasn't any patch last week.

There's still about 2 weeks left to go before kMS's official patch. Hopefully, there's some feedback from the NL community in kMS, so they can change some things.

I kind of wanted the NW revamp to go before a "NL tweak". That way, they could at least improve on some of the changes like WA to BM. Now, it would seem as the reverse is in order of making NW's better.

I was deciding between buying a better claw while they're cheap, or going all-out on a katara. This made the choice very easy. Unless DBs are somehow ruined later on.
Ofc there is 5th job to look forward to. But that's a long way forward and I'm not holding my breath.
