Empress 50 damage reduction
i know empress reudces our damage by 50% and all but hypothetically if a BaM or any other class without ele reset had perfect 999,999-999,999 range right now with would they still suffer from damage reduction or would their range allow their range to cap still.
what do u chaps think

classes with elemental reset ignore resistances, including physical/magical resistance (which is what pb+emp+hilla have)
I mean I see vids of a db hitting cap all the time at empress so yeh.

Not empress set.
The Empress boss herself....
Most high end boss have a 50% damage reduction from every element, and neutral (BaMs attacks are neutral) is also an element. The only way to bypass this is by having Elemental Reset (like Evans and explorer mages), which makes your attack non-elemental, and bypass the 50% redux.
OT : I didn't try yet, but i think dmg redux is taking into consideration after your dmg is applied.

I believe that 50% reduction is taken into account after the damage calcs with the skill you're using. I'm pretty sure damage boosting skills that don't affect your range should let you to cap on Empress regardless of range. A good example would be Infinity, using that skill, I was able to cap on Empress with Angel Ray on my Bishop.
There's also sharp eyes/critical damage.
