Did Asians started gangs first?

A lot of hate right now as I am seeing a chat fight on facebook. Basically as I am reading this conversation. Mexicans are hating on asians because they are wanna be's and one asian said, "Asians started gangs first. The media shows asians in a different way." I can't post the conversation for safety reasons.

Is that true?

in elementary school we pretended to have two rival gangs. a large group of kids fought each other in the playground during recess. good times.

"we started gangs first and therefore no one else but my people can be in gangs!"
well that actually sounds kind of nice.

The Roman Empire would be considered the greatest gang of all time.

Depends how you define gang.

United States can be considered a gang. We just have more structure and we constructed a form of order, fear and hate throughout the world.

It depends on if you consider the mafia the same as "gangs." To me, gangs are small time and disorganized, while mafias are organized crime syndicates on a larger scale. Two separate things. Pretty sure things like the Triads were around for a long time. But I think Mafias in Sicily were around even earlier than Asian Triads. Like around the 11th or 12th century is when the first mafia was credited. Although they weren't anything like Modern Italian Mafias.

I'm not too sure, Mexicans might have started gangs earlier than Asians in North America but I think Asian gangs have been around for a long time in Asia.

The first "gang" was probably a group of cave-men whom went and pillaged other cave-men.
So they couldn't have bee Asian since cave-men can't do math.
