Gms

When was gMS at its Prime?

Everyone knows, even Nexon, gMS is dying game that has little to no hope for the future of longevity. To me, gMS is a hollow shell of it's former self. It used to such a great game in the past but now it's half decent to unplayable.

So my question is what was your funnest and favorite year of gMS? For me, I'd have to say in the years 2006-2008 where everything was so much simpler and much harder in term of difficulty compared to the current version.

-4+ teams to fight Zakum
-people at kpq and lpq (INVITED ME PL0x I have track!, NEED 40+ I HAVE AUTOCLICK,)
-3rd job was the highest and were well respected

hbu?

From the beginning, until shortly after 4th job... or was it shortly before it. No, it was probably after.

CPQ, but with Pirates and KoC. So I guess 2008 (CPQ and Pirates and Trade Shop) and 2009 (KoC).
Me and my IRL friends and brother played the game all the time, I was a dexless assassin who was "godly" at CPQ.

But that's the end of my nostalgia.

I'd say the release of Crimsonwood Keep. What an exciting patch that was.

Then they nuked it a few years later.

ur making me cry

OT: I've always been a fan of Maple, from Beta till around Big Bang or so. I've always loved this game, and I gotta say, I still do admire it, but I just don't find any fun it anymore unless you've got loads of cash to spend on this thing. Even then, I still can't see my self enjoying this game like I used to.

kpq was killer

Actually, around big bang. I liked the community pre-bb but its sucked. It took forever to train and everyone hit low damage.

I felt it started to drop around the introduction to pirates. No offense pirates.

My funnest year was release of 4th job. I was one of the few people that was actually a Bowmaster at the time. I really enjoyed doing pqs with Drks so we could get our skills. I also enjoyed fighting my Phoneix. How many BMs can say they tamed thier Phoenix?

Korea Town, the story I found interesting with the 3 Goblins.

2006 - 2008 for sure. Even when the pirates first came out it was still pretty epic.

5 Jobs was algood and people of high lvls were respected sooo much.
It was actually a very balanced game and was not a pay to win game at that stage.

Community was awesome at that time too

When Big Bang happened, Maplestory had the most concurrent players online.

@above: Shut up, son. You're just making a fool of yourself now.
